Hello! I came across the Chanel Boy in this year's dark grey a few days ago and can't get it out of my mind. I've gone quite far back on the threads here but I am still very confused. What's the likelihood I can purchase it at the boutique? I'm completely new to Chanel. Do I just pop in the store and try my luck? Do I try to get an SA and just hope it comes in stock? Is it completely sold out and Chanel has moved on to another season? What are my chances?

Hi, if you're eyeing seasonal colours then it'll really depends on luck coz they might still bring it in or they might not.

If you want the classic colours then you might be in luck though there'll be some waiting required. I waited for mine for about 1 month (if I remember correctly). I got the combination I wanted which was the Black caviar with SHW in medium size.

Anyway just go find a SA (from both boutiques), give the SA your details and which one you're looking for and then wait.

Sharing the Rose Clair from 22K that I got from Chanel Japan!
I’m shocked at the price difference; the weak yen against SGD and that Chanel hasn’t adjusted price in Japan made it a whooping close to 1.8kSGD cheaper for the medium Chanel 22! Wasn’t keen on getting the Chanel 22 but at this price, it seems like a crime not to and since many places are ceasing giving shopping bags, I thought it is not too bad an idea!

FYI price without tax is 661,000¥ for Chanel 22 Medium and I was lucky to catch the YouTrip exchange rate at 106¥/SGD F29566AF-ACAE-4345-87FB-8B8FBC1E665D.png

Regarding repairs, from what I know, minor repairs (not from wear and tear) are done locally. Like the previous issue I had with my cf, it was sent to the local team to assess if it can/can't be repaired or if it's complicated, they will recommend to send to France.

I did a total hardware change from shw to gold 6yrs back for my cf (no longer with me) and was charged over $300 with a 4mths wait. I checked a few months ago, they still have this service. Don't need receipt as they can check the serial against their database.

Hi I'm new to this.
Do you know if they still charge the same price for the hardware change?
I bought my first chanel 2 yrs ago.
Classic flap med in shw but kinda regret not getting the ghw.
Will it affect the resale value?
