Hi, i begin my chanel journey earlier this year (i know i abit late to start since the price so high now) when i found and bought ccf at Incheon, the bag already with micro chip. And this month i bought my second chanel bag at NAC, and my SA did the warranty which i can see from the sms sent by Chanel.

My question is when i purchased my ccf, i did not receive any sms from chanel about the warranty, will it be an issue in the future?

Very hard to get anything from Chanel nowadays, even with asking SA to look out for you… unless for a VIP client I guess. I was very lucky that I managed to get a business affinity in beige when I happened to pop by in MBS store. It was the last piece and thankfully the piece is okay. Lady Luck was smiling to me that day
Did u have to ask your SA for the business affinity in advance or u managed to pick up just by walking in?
 
I have been asking plenty of items from my SA and none coming at all lol!

Also I was looking at this article dated 2015 by HerWorld on the kind of repairs that Chanel will do. Can anyone verify if this is still true and stand today?

That sucks! Can't be that SG get so little of everything, right? It's so meh!

Regarding repairs, from what I know, minor repairs (not from wear and tear) are done locally. Like the previous issue I had with my cf, it was sent to the local team to assess if it can/can't be repaired or if it's complicated, they will recommend to send to France.

I did a total hardware change from shw to gold 6yrs back for my cf (no longer with me) and was charged over $300 with a 4mths wait. I checked a few months ago, they still have this service. Don't need receipt as they can check the serial against their database.

Nope. Don't worry about it.

It's the same when you purchase via online payment. I've never got any sms. I only do it if I was purchasing it physically at the store.

I really have no idea. Unless these limited stock bags are offered to some vip or preferred clients first. Having said this, I still see some of these bags end up in Carousell like the Grey 22B cf quite literally freshly procured from the boutique coz they will mention they have local receipt.

@twinkleAA , thanks for sharing on the repair service. I am hoping to bring a bag from 2016 for the chain/strap leather a look at. The leather is fraying and peeling. Do you chanel will repair it and replace the leather strap for a fee?
 
Anyone got anything from 22k? It's been quiet here lately. I'm just enjoying some eye candies and feeling happy for those who got the item(s) they want. I've been asking my SA for a black cch in small for over a year already (for this collection I'm also open to red or beige too) but I doubt I will get. Let's see if it's bag fate haha!

Wow haven’t been here in awhile as I have been traveling since the borders opened. Unfortunately, stock overseas is as bad so even tho SGD is so strong now, I can’t abuse it..
I remember a while back I shared I got a present from Chanel for my birthday and completely forgot to share the square scarf so here it is!

Got another pair of my favorite combat boots (my 3rd pair!) which I bought from Thailand (it’s about 300+ cheaper thanks to tax free and strong SGD)

Lastly, sharing the 22K bag I’ve been lusting after since I saw the patent and tweed ones at the fashion show! I was pretty much at purse peace since earlier this year and turned to watches. The last bag I got was the Duma from my Hubby for my birthday in august and personally did not get any new bags since March (I’m so proud of myself for this!!) but this.. I just couldn’t resist when my SA very kindly kept for me after I expressed my interested since last season.

I’m glad to update that my hobo bag is finally back from the repair!
The entire process is quite fuss free, I received a link from Chanel after sending in the item so that I can monitor the repair progress.
20 Sep - service request submitted
21 Sep - assessment in progress
4 Oct - repair in progress
5 Oct - ready for collection
Repair part is so fast (only 1 day), I wonder if they had replaced the strap instead of color touch up.
Anyway All is good now, can’t wait to bring it out soon! :)
