Whenever I visit my normal store, they never have the boy in the black w/ruthenium available. I do see the seasonal boys available though (like red). They usually have only the small size available at my store. I’m not sure which size you want, but I got my boy (sm black caviar w/ruthenium) a few months ago by looking at the store stock thread. I’ve seen a couple in the combo that you want pop up every once in a while since I got mine. You might want to check there every so often to see if it shows up.

I don’t think it’s too small at all! Im not tall (5’4), but I’ve seen it on people of all heights and sizes and it always looks good, in all the ways you can carry it. I think the small is the best boy size. The others are just too big and boxy for me, kinda messenger bag-ish looking. The small is the best-looking size!
Chanel bags can be Made in Italy, Spain, or France. My boy bag is made in France but I have plenty of Chanel bags made in Italy. Don’t be disappointed.
I am also wondering the same thing! I just bought a small boy (seasonal color in purple with gold hardware) 2 days ago, but I am kind of having second thought. This is actually my first Chanel bag ever! I've been wanting either a small boy or flap for a while though. It was an unexpected purchase, I just walked by the boutique and decided to go in. One of the SA took out a purple boy to show me which happened to be my favorite color and I just couldn't put it down. I absolutely love the bag! However, considering this is my first Chanel, I am not sure maybe I should have gone for a more classic bag (and in classic colors)? Especially with the seasonal color, I don't know if it will hold its value?

I think you should go with the one you love more! Black is and will always be available, you can get it easier than this one. Besides personally I think black is a bit boring and everywhere.

Hi all! I have an issue with a new boy bag that is asymmetrical, front and back, all the quilting is shifted off to the right hand side and it’s my first Chanel bag! However I’m afraid they won’t have another white calfskin small Chanel boy from this season if I were to return it. Australia gets very little stock you see... in my city there are only two stores. Even if they have another, there’s no guarantee it’s better or worse. I have 14 days to return it for store credit, but that credit only lasts one year... what if I can’t find another bag I love? This is my unicorn combo. What would you do?

I absolutely love my boy bag. I've got the old medium caviar in ruthenium hardware, and theyre light weight, easy to use and love the edginess of it
I ended up keeping my small black boy bag with gold hardware. I really hope you are able to find a new one white. It’s so much money to spend to not be happy with it. Good luck
