Would you only use it for special occasions? I'm looking for a timeless classic beige bag, and I'm thinking the Caviar version in M/L would be perfect, but would I have to baby it or can I use it for going out to the shops etc.? (if not, does anyone have other recommendations? I'm in my late 20's).
I too am thinking about purchasing the beige Clair Jumbo with silver hardware. I’m kicking myself for not purchasing it when it was $5500, now it’s $7100 and I can’t ven believe I’m considering it. But I’ve always wanted to add that bag to my collection so I’m biting the bullet, selling a few things and getting the bag. I really can’t wait!☺️ Do you guys think this bag can be worn all year long? I would want to wear it through the winter with my lighter color coats.
Yes, unfortunately the prices went up while we were all on lock down. That price does NOT include tax. It really is ridiculous! I’m only getting it because it’s the last bag on my wishlist. I just got the medium Beige Clair with GHW. I also pulled the trigger despite the new price because it’s the last classic flap on my list (hopefully). I love it so much although did not have a chance to wear it out yet!
I was hunting for the 20B beige chevron classic flap, but it seems I'm too late and it's totally sold out. I found 1 small classic flap in beige clair that I am considering.. it's darker and warmer than I'd like, but with the current price for a small at $5800 ($6300) after tax, this is the last chance I'll get. I'm not willing to pay more than $6k retail for a small so I'll be priced out after the next price hike
Can anyone share their thoughts on value retention of the beige clair classic flaps? Since it's always available and in the permanent collection, do you think that lowers the potential resale value? For example, compared to a seasonal beige/cream/neutral that's "rare" because it was only available for that time period

I just put myself down on the reserve list for a caviar beige clair classic flap and was wondering if anyone has had color transfer issues with this bag. If so, were you able to get it out? Txs so much!

Nice! Do you ever use your bag when you're wearing jeans? Also, has it darkened over the years? Txs.
Zero darkening and yes I have used it with dark jeans, but not brand new dark jeans.
