cat grief

I'm starting to believe he will. Losing my dog when his buddy died had me in panic mode. I keep reminding myself Kitten was solid and healthy to start whereas as Puppy was seriously ill his entire life when his big buddy died. But the history kind of hits, ya know?

Thank you.

I don't blame you for being worried that history will repeat itself. The worst part is seeing that your pet is down all you want to do is give them snuggles and make it better. But they don't want your snuggles they want to be left alone and they look so sad & pitiful. It took my Zorro a good full 3 months to turn around and really give us a good honest hearty purr like he did before his brother passed away. He's pretty much back to normal now, he doesn't always get along with his new little bro so that's causing him a little bit of stress.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss and the problems your other cat is having in adjusting. To ease his recovery, this product can be very helpful in soothing a troubled cat, you can get it from your veterinarian.

I am not affiliated with this product in anyway, but I have had good results with it, it is safe and definitely worth a try.

Thank you for the link. I missed your post earlier.

I think that my boy is getting a handle on his feelings and place in the home without his friend. He's grooming again, eating normally, staying outside more (he loves to play), and even started using Kitty's bed this week. I almost gave it away, but I'm glad I didn't.
