I never wore mine as a bracelet. The first thing I did was cut it off to hang on a rhodium-plated sterling chain. They had a necklace like that with a rose gold chain at one time, but $1,000 for a chain? Pass. Now I hang it sideways with a Tiffany charm clip on a fancier chain.Hi! Has anyone converted their trinity cord bracelet into a necklace or bracelet with a Cartier gold chain? I’ve been unlucky with my bracelet…the bracelet knots come apart or starts smelling weird cuz I would rather wear it 24-7. Thanks!
Same here ordered 2mm silk cards from Amazon but the quality is not the same as Cartier which is more stiff more solid like you said. I read someone on this thread or other forum that she was able to find the exact same quality ones in Japan but can’t find it now. I will be traveling to JP in Fall if you see this message could you please let me know where in Japan to look for it. TIA.Hi everyone, finally I found some informations about the new cord-system. I usually changed mine in France when we were there on vacation. They always had some nice colors, but I think now I even don't have to try it
Does anyone know if there's in Paris still the whole range?
Also I hoped the get somewhere the mulitcolored one, but I guess that is impossible.
I ordered cords online but they are not the same. Cartier's are like more solid. On tik tok I read that someone knows where Cartier order their cords, but she didn't tell from where. So if we can find where to buy - that would be awesome! I learnt how to do the knot and change mine weekly or sometimes daily![]()
Not the OP but I got plenty at this shop in Japan. Same as those from Cartier, and they have lots of colors.Same here ordered 2mm silk cards from Amazon but the quality is not the same as Cartier which is more stiff more solid like you said. I think they only ship within Japan. I got mine in the shop in Japan directly.Great! 🥰But how do I order there - I only speak German or English? Is there a setting for English?
Or is it only to buy them offline in Japan? 🤔
Did you get it in Tokyo do you remember the exact store you got it from? TIA!I think they only ship within Japan. I got mine in the shop in Japan directly.

I don't think this is true. I just recently chatted with my SA about these bracelets and she didn't mention anything about not being able to change the cord. Actually quite the opposite, if I were to get one she mentioned I would be able to change the cord anytime I want or even get all the colors that I want to go since the boutique is quite far from me.Has anyone heard something about Cartier not doing cord changes anymore? I just read a comment on TikTok of someone saying they were turned away with the SA stating there is a new global policy that they do not change cords anymore. I just got my bracelet last month and it would be a shame if they changed their system.
I was just in Cartier on Sunday to pick something up and was going to get a cord change but didn’t really like the colors but it was definitely still an option. I just ended up getting a few colors to take home since the store is far from me.Has anyone heard something about Cartier not doing cord changes anymore?
