Cartier silk cord bracelets

I finally found my lost Trinity cord and took it to New Bond St store today. I was told they only do cord changes on weekdays now, but they gave me a set of cords and a card with a QR code. The QR code leads to this video. They said I could try doing it myself but if I mess it up, I could just bring it back on a weekday.

That is so sweet that they sent you cords! I asked my SA if I could buy an extra cord:) She said when I am ready, they have to change it there.

Hi everyone! I'd love to get your insights. What are the available colors this summer? I'm considering getting a cord bracelet, but I've heard that Cartier has been reducing their color options beyond the basic five. Also, how long does the cord typically stay looking good and fresh? Thanks!

Hi! Has anyone converted their trinity cord bracelet into a necklace or bracelet with a Cartier gold chain? I’ve been unlucky with my bracelet…the bracelet knots come apart or starts smelling weird cuz I would rather wear it 24-7. Thanks!

Talking to my SAs they are not in favor for these braclets - to write that 'very' politely. In the boutiques they have so many "clients" just walking in to change the color which disrupts their normal business. I see the point that this bracelet is some sort of entry point to Cartier but would not be surprised if they stop selling it.

I can see how it can be annoying to the SAs lol. With that, it's kind of their job since the brand chooses to sell it. I'd actually prefer if they were giving out cord options to go, like someone mentioned above in this chain. That would alleviate the burden from both, the SAs and customers who don't don't necessarily want to take a trip to the boutique every time. On the other hand, cord changeovers in the boutique is a very smart marketing to get people to visit the boutiques and potentially eye their next wishlist item during these visits.
You make an interesting point about it being an entry point, it's also a smart way to bring people into the brand. Now I already have plenty of Cartier items, but had I known about this bracelet early on, I'd definitely purchase it first! I'd love to have it in my teen years

Hi everyone, finally I found some informations about the new cord-system. I usually changed mine in France when we were there on vacation. They always had some nice colors, but I think now I even don't have to try it
Does anyone know if there's in Paris still the whole range?
Also I hoped the get somewhere the mulitcolored one, but I guess that is impossible.

I ordered cords online but they are not the same. Cartier's are like more solid. On tik tok I read that someone knows where Cartier order their cords, but she didn't tell from where. So if we can find where to buy - that would be awesome! I learnt how to do the knot and change mine weekly or sometimes daily :flowers:

Yes I have. I have the cord bracelet but bought a second one to make a necklace. I purchased the Cartier chain separately and it was still cheaper than buying it when you could get it as a necklace.
