I wasn't able to get an apt at the boutique today, going to get one with my SA next week. I did try on the DBTY at Tiffany though.
Can anyone tell me what the chain length is?
I don’t have a comparison to the Tiffany but I will say I have been blown away by how gorgeous and sparkly the necklace on the Leger is. I literally had to take off my inexpensive Missoma coin necklace that I l had been layering because it looked so crappy next to the Leger!
What size did you end up getting? Do you have mod shots? I'm thinking of getting the small size.
I got the size small. Here’s a picture. It’s not a great pic but hopefully you can still see how the light hits the necklace and makes it sparkle in spots! It’s really the necklace as opposed to the diamond that is wowed by

I agree! I have diamond tiffany necklaces that I layer with my C de cartier and VCA necklaces. Cartier and VCA necklace chains are much superior looks wise than tiffany. I think, as opposed to when people say “paying for the name”, the extra money is actually evident in the craftsmanship. Will upload a comparison of the 3 chains as soon as I get the chance!
I have the Legers in XS (0.09 ct) and tried the Tiffany size 0.17 ct. Kinda unfair comparison 
I found the dbty uncomfortable because the diamond pokes the skin. I feel like you get more craftsmanship on the legers - Shinier chain, detailing on the bezel and closure, and no ‘ears’ from the chain to the bezel.
In my country the price difference between the Tiffany 0.17 ct and the biggest Cartier 0.18 ct is only around 200 euro. And for that difference I’d buy the Cartier.

I have been considering these 2 pieces for a while and literally registered in the forum just to ask a question.
I checked out the necklaces in store recently. My main purpose is to get one for layering. I really like the Cartier one but my main concern is the chain is too sparkly. It seems to outshine my other necklace when layered together. It will be great on its own though.
Anyone layering their necklaces find the sparkle an issue?

Agreed! I have both the legers and C de Cartier and they are just so beautifully made.
I have the XS size, so it's very delicate and I wear it on the shorter setting, the sparkle is my favourite thing about it though so not much help on that front. However two things you could consider. The size S has a thicker chain and is more noticeable, so perhaps try the XS? Or you could go for one that blends into your skin tone more. For example try the pink gold if have pinker undertones, that way it might blend in more and not overpower your other necklaces.
I did see the XS but I didn't try it on as I thought it's too small. Maybe I should try on and see how it goes. Thanks for the suggestion, and yes, I love the sparkles as well but trying not to let it overshadow my other layered necklace too :
