Cartier Diamants Leger vs Tiffany DBTY

Hi I got the XS and love it, have been wearing it in the shower, cleaning , daily life for 1 year with no breaking issues.

Can you share a pic wearing it?

I wear two DBTY everyday. One necklace is a single diamond and the second has three smaller diamonds.
I never take them off unless they need to be cleaned. Despite their delicate look the chains are pretty sturdy; I’ve never had one break. I prefer the Tiffany because the bezels around the diamonds are very thin making the stones appear larger.

I was debating between Cartier and DBTY a few months ago. I found that DBTY are better stones than the diamants legers. I went with a 0.19 stone and golden chain. I am wearing it in the photo. I actually wear it almost 24/7 and love it.

I prefer the Cartier and wear it nonstop since 4 months ,the necklace and the diamond is so sparkly and hardly swivels around .I have two Tiffany dbty in yellow and platinum ,bought years before and the diamonds always poke me .

Tiffany can add a backing to the necklace so the diamond doesn’t poke you. They did this for me on a complimentary basis after I bought mine. Something to consider if you’d still want to wear them if they were more comfortable.

I did not know that .I love them but the poking puts me off .

Pictures of dbty of Cartier (top in rose gold ) Tiffany in yellow and platinum .I think the difference is in the chains .The Cartier chain is more sparkly compared to the Tiffany

Thanks for this pic! They all look good, but I am noticing 2 things : the Tiffany ones have bigger Mickey Mouse ears than the Cartier, and the Cartier one has a nice line embellishment in the besel, whereas the Tiffany ones are very simple. How does the Cartier not poke you? Is the back different?

Yes the back is very different from Tiffany ,the gold is enveloping the back and it raises it above .This is the back .

I just love the Cartier ones .So I have the matching bracelet too and have never taken then off since I got them .Simple and elegant .
