I have the Legers in XS (0.09 ct) and tried the Tiffany size 0.17 ct. Kinda unfair comparison

I found the dbty uncomfortable because the diamond pokes the skin. I feel like you get more craftsmanship on the legers - Shinier chain, detailing on the bezel and closure, and no ‘ears’ from the chain to the bezel.

In my country the price difference between the Tiffany 0.17 ct and the biggest Cartier 0.18 ct is only around 200 euro. And for that difference I’d buy the Cartier.

So good to see a comparison of the two. The Cartier is so much more tidy and cleaner compared to the dbty necklace! The prices between the xs/s/m is quite different now!

Hello, I know I'm replying to an older post but I was just curious if Cartier charged you for the 1 inch extension of the chain? Also, do you happen to know/remember if the chain is exactly the same size/width for S and L models? Thanks.

I'm not OP, but I extended several necklaces at Cartier and the first extension is always free. I cannot remember how long thought, there's definitely a limit, maybe it's 1 inch.

Yes first alteration is free and up to 1inch extension if I'm not wrong.
Second one will be charged even if no extension. I stupidly altered the bracelet too short and needed a second alteration and paid SGD180 or 190 while the bracelet isn't that expensive 😭

You made a good point regarding the thickness of the chains.
I compared L size necklace with the sapphire bracelet. The bracelet is slightly thicker than the L necklace.
I also compared VCA sweet and vintage size necklace. Sweet is definitely thinner than vintage chain.
