I swore up and down that I would not buy a Cara...Well, I saw it in person in oxblood and loved it...Not wearing as a backpack (I feel I'm too old for that!), but as a shoulder bag using one of the straps...It's a great size and has a terrific feel to it...Live and learn...

This is my mini black Cara. It is a very cute little bag... but... It did come with indentations on the front and back from the handles. I decided to live with this and I used it for the first time today. I used one of the straps to wear it over my shoulder, I had only worn it for an hour when I noticed that the strap had almost come apart, if I hadn't noticed it would have probably fallen off and onto the floor. Sadly this one is going back to Mulberry, for £795 I expect a bit more than this.

I am loving all the pictures on here. Trying to decide which color I want...I think black or oxblood. I really like the idea of the canvas strap, I have a LV with a canvas strap and it stays on the shoulder nicely.

That's too bad! Hopefully they'll give you a perfect version in return, as you should have gotten the first time. The bag is gorgeous though.

There's a goat leather version in the "coming soon" section... now if it was oxblood rather than blue camouflage print, I'd definitely get one!

The modelling pics make it look less boxy than the NVT versions - more like classic Bayswater shape on the hand held pic.

More goat leather options please Mulberry!

My thoughts exactly! Unlikely to use as a backpack (although never say never) but I like the versatility of the shoulder strap, and the fact that it's smaller than a Bays. And the oxblood colour :loveeyes:
