The thing that bugs me the most about cara, as beautiful as she is in her glad rags is that she's the face of Burberry, Gucci and a host of other products/companies. Could Mulberry not have found someone new who's as beautiful?? I'm only 45 but young at heart and can see the attraction now of this range (and it's taken a while to get used to it) but I just wish the face of mulberry was a tad more classy, elegant and not so Tom-boy rich girl.

I tried to wear mine as crossbody as well by joining the two straps (they are too short by themselves, I was a bit disappointed when I found out), but the metal ends dug into the back of my shoulder. :( I've been wearing it as a shoulder bag, but I'm not really used to it.

I'm considering buying a longer strap from somewhere, hope I can get it in burgundy.

I just tries this as well and fortunately it doesn't bother me... but seeing the oxblood being an it colour foe fw, the chance of finding long straps in that colour should be high!


Edit: actually there's an oxblood small Willow now - it comes with a thin crossbody strap. although not sure what the price of a strap would be :S

the quited, lion rivets, and hairy calf are all leather straps (thankfully) The green is beautiful too! I love it in medium size too hehe, hoping it will be hitting some sale price eventually

if you are choosing between the black (with silver hardware) and oxblood i would pick oxblood. if you are choosing between the black quilted and oxblood, then i'm not sure, lol

i bought both the black quilted and the oxblood so i am kind of in the same boat. however, if you are choosing between the black with silver hardware and the oxblood, then i say oxblood. i love the color. the browns are more mulberry-esque to me, if you know what i mean. i was worried that i would only be able to wear oxblood in the fall and winter, but nope i feel she is a very versatile color. i also feel like i have a lot of black bags. i have a black chanel medium and jumbo flap, both with gold hardware, and and the mini quilted kind of reminds me of those. presently i am leaning more towards oxblood, canvas straps and all.

Ive only got the one bag in Black which is my prada...which i will be selling so wont have any black bags....but then i love the oxblood colour....

The bag looks beautiful on you Caroliny. I'll have both bags with me tomorrow, so im sure i'll fall in love with one of them...though im leaning towards the oxblood...im a gold hardware girl too xx

i have ultimately decided to keep the oxblood. the leather used on the quilted is very nice, very smooth & delicate feeling. i think the black quilted will require more babying. she seems prone to scratches. in the end i am picking based on my love for the oxblood color and the perceived durability of the material. good luck!

I've really come around to the Cara in the natural leathers and bought the mini in black yesterday, it has been despatched today so I will be stalking the DPD driver tomorrow!

With a small child I quite like the idea of wearing as a back pack but it's also flexible to wear cross body, I hope it's as good as I'm expecting!
