I’ve put in the sleeve and most of the time on shelve but I should have said I kept it in the box for a few weeks as the period between April 27th to June 4th we had bought a house and didn’t use until we were completely moved. So since then and since I’ve used the bag it hasn’t been in the box

And when I am using it, it is kept in the bedroom on a seating chair.

I have my recipe and my closest store is 4 hours away. We leave for a 3 week vacation Sept 5th and an disappointed I won’t be using this bag. Definitely frustrated at how fast this happened and using it a few days a week since June. I’m hoping they will repair at least for no charge!

You can email Client Services and see what they say. It's disappointing but unfortunately you'll likely be told you'll have to bring it into a store. So, either bring it in and be potentially without it on your vacation, or use it on your vacation and bring it in after (though you risk having it become worse). There's a possibility they will exchange on the spot and you'll still come out with a bag to use for your vacation - I sound like a broken record - but we can't tell you what the outcome will be and you will have to contact LV to see what the options are.

omgosh! take it back! What is going on ya'll? Are they cutting ingredient corners out of the glaze formula????

I was just telling my husband that all my other bags have been through heck and back and look and hold brand new (Mainly talking of all my Michael Kors bags) and this looks like I’ve went on a marathon with it on my shoulder and I have hand sanitizer, the small inside bag that was included and a small bag with gum, liners, hand lotion and a few other small thing. I do not abuse this bag and it was my understanding that you can load them up and use them and are to hold true to the quality but over the last month I’ve noticed nothing but the opposite. I’m very disappointed in the quality, that is for sure. I’m hoping this was just a dud. I don’t live in the south and it’s not exposed to a lot of humidity or anything crazy. I live north or Chicago and feel going to the grocery store and dinner should cause this bad of damage. Just definitely more I’m shock to say the least lol this is my first LV bag and I had such high expectations of these bags and the brand and planned on buying another in the GM to use as a diaper bag come February but I have definitely changed my mind!

Well currently I live 4 hours away from a store and am pregnant and have a 3 year old and a husband in Iraq so I’m hoping that I won’t have to hike down to my closest store. I think I’ll call see what am told and maybe I can stop in Orlando next month if for some crazy reason they will exchange it although I doubt it. I will gladly goto the Chicago store which is closest for me to exchange but I’d hate to drive there for nothing. I’ve read they will send you a Label and you can ship it in to be repaired

Thanks for everyone’s feed back. Until I used it today and noticed how bad the glaze was I thought it was normal so I started researching and discovered this shouldn’t be happening. I thought I was going crazy! Lol so again thank you all for the responses. I wanted to make sure that this isn’t normal before I called about the issue!

Just an update. So yesterday I went to the LV store in Orlando, FL and they told me my bag had multiple defects and even exchanged the bag that I’ve had since the end of April. They said my straps glaze should never do this and I guess they spotted a couple other things so I did walk out with a brand new NF. The only thing that I was sad about is that they did not have the Red lining like my original purchase and I ended up taking the “Pink” liner bag (not sure the color’s name).

That’s awesome! Very happy for you!

I purchased my NF MM in Paris 3 months ago (April 27th to be exact) and I didn’t actually even use this bag until June. I do use this about 3 days out of the week and I carry a wallet and a few random small things and my phone. My glaze on my straps only are wearing so bad and I don’t feel this is normal for 2 months of use on a $1,340 item. Has this happened to anyone else? Will LV repair this or was this just an unlucky! I’ll add pictures of what’s in my bag and the peeling of the glaze!
Did you put very heavy stuff inside? such as a laptop?
