Yes, just go into the store, this should be a known issue. They will either replace/offer credit on the spot or they will send pictures to the quality control team so it can be deemed defective.

I think they will, otherwise you should bring it in at your local store, so they can send some pictures to quality control. I recently got store credit for a bag from 2013 so everything is possible.

Any minipalm owner have the same problem on zipper area of the bags?

Yes, mine was about 2 months old when I noticed a small peel around the zipper area, but I did not take it in because it was so small, don't want the CA to think I am crazy. But as times go by (I was very careful taking things in and out, seldom user the zipper, I did not use any hand lotion or did not expose the bag to any heat/sun), but the peeling continue to spread.

So I took it in at around 11+ months and asked the CA if there is anything wrong with the bag, they took it back and give me store credit without question.

I’m glad to tell you all that I can exchange my bag. I do the exchange in strasbourg. First they ask me to do it in france but my husband insist to do it right away and they agree to do the exchange. I dont want store credit so I take p

yes! Mine did the same thing around the zipper and it is where the zipper is hitting the lip that covers it when you open and close the bag. My CA told me it was normal wear and tear.

Yes, in my case thats what happen in early wear. And I personally think it was wear and tear and didn’t mind at all.. until it spreading

I am so upset. I’ve only had this purse 3 years. And have only carried it maybe 40 times.
I have 4 other Louis Vuitton’s and have not had any issue like this.
Ridiculous to spend $1,500 for a bag that peels. I just noticed it about a week ago. And it’s getting worse by the day.
I bought it at Louis Vuitton at WillowBend Mall.
I’m taking it in this week.
Just wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem?

Yes my friend had the exact same issue. It looked identical to your bag. They gave her a store credit.
