I have not had any peeling issues on my bags, but peeling has been a reported issue on some bags so I am sure LV is aware. It should be deemed defective and store credit given.

Just happened to my Iena. Took it in, they took pictures and gave me a store credit about one week later.
I purchased my NF MM in Paris 3 months ago (April 27th to be exact) and I didn’t actually even use this bag until June. I do use this about 3 days out of the week and I carry a wallet and a few random small things and my phone. My glaze on my straps only are wearing so bad and I don’t feel this is normal for 2 months of use on a $1,340 item. Has this happened to anyone else? Will LV repair this or was this just an unlucky! I’ll add pictures of what’s in my bag and the peeling of the glaze!

Definitely bring it in. My < 1 year old new-to-me Neverfull has this. I sent a photo to my CA and he said he can send it in for a repair since it's less than a year old but can't guarantee it'll be free. As I don't have the receipt and it's a LE Neverfull that I don't want to part with for 12 weeks, I decided to just keep using mine until the handles need to be replaced.
Since yours is only 4 months old and purchased brand new so they can easily look it up, I think you have a much higher chance of getting it repaired for free, or replaced completely.

I have my recipe and my closest store is 4 hours away. We leave for a 3 week vacation Sept 5th and an disappointed I won’t be using this bag. Definitely frustrated at how fast this happened and using it a few days a week since June. I’m hoping they will repair at least for no charge!
This bag was made according to code in the bag in March and was purchased April 27th and first taken out for use June 4th. I’m highly disappointed in the lack of I feel quality in this bag as I’ve used it very little and I feel should hold up way better then this for the price. My SIL has the same bag and gas had if for years and she has not had this issue. I definitely feel I got a dud lol
Not a good idea to store in the box
I’ve put in the sleeve and most of the time on shelve but I should have said I kept it in the box for a few weeks as the period between April 27th to June 4th we had bought a house and didn’t use until we were completely moved. So since then and since I’ve used the bag it hasn’t been in the box
