I have not had any peeling issues on my bags, but peeling has been a reported issue on some bags so I am sure LV is aware. It should be deemed defective and store credit given.

yup. take it in today.Wondering if anyone has had a problem with Louis Vuitton peeling like this?
I am so upset. I’ve only had this purse 3 years. And have only carried it maybe 40 times.
I have 4 other Louis Vuitton’s and have not had any issue like this.
Ridiculous to spend $1,500 for a bag that peels. I just noticed it about a week ago. And it’s getting worse by the day.
I bought it at Louis Vuitton at WillowBend Mall.
I’m taking it in this week.
Just wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem?
Thank you Samantha.Yes my friend had the exact same issue. It looked identical to your bag. They gave her a store credit.
Definitely bring it in. My < 1 year old new-to-me Neverfull has this. I sent a photo to my CA and he said he can send it in for a repair since it's less than a year old but can't guarantee it'll be free. As I don't have the receipt and it's a LE Neverfull that I don't want to part with for 12 weeks, I decided to just keep using mine until the handles need to be replaced.
Since yours is only 4 months old and purchased brand new so they can easily look it up, I think you have a much higher chance of getting it repaired for free, or replaced completely.
That looks awful. That is not normal. Have you been storing it in an unconditioned area?
Not a good idea to store in the boxThe days I’m not using it, I keep in the sleeve and I’m the box. My home stays at 71 degrees and hasn’t been exposed to anything crazy I guess to say the least.
I’ve put in the sleeve and most of the time on shelve but I should have said I kept it in the box for a few weeks as the period between April 27th to June 4th we had bought a house and didn’t use until we were completely moved. So since then and since I’ve used the bag it hasn’t been in the boxNot a good idea to store in the box
