You are correct, I bought two matching items and uploaded the wrong photos. Mods feel free to delete and I'll upload the actual gator Calvi.
Ive used a epsom calvi daily for over 10 years now, and theres like no damage to it at all. I keep mine in my pants.
Here are some pictures of my anemone calvi in chevre mysore leather. It’s been used, abused, and overstuffed for 3-4 years at this point and the only signs of wear are a couple small scratches that blend in with the leather texture plus the stretching around the corners from being overstuffed. I think it still looks pretty good!Does anyone know how a Calvi will hold up over many years of use? I like the simplicity of it and how discrete the design is. If anyone has experience with using Calvis for a while or even pictures of a used one, that'd be great! Thanks
Wow! This is something unique and amazing. Do you know if ombre lizard comes in regular calvis, or only in your special order? Also, how did you come across special ordering a lizard Calvi, since it seems that only epsom and swift are only available?
I have not personally seen a lizard calvi being offered on a regular basis - but I’m sure the knowledgeable people here can correct me. The calvi definitely does come in other leathers though - ostrich and chevre are fairly “common,” and will see some box, peau de porc, and croc (I think and not alligator). I did not personally place this order, but was offered to me by my boutique when I expressed an interest in lizard. Maybe someone else requested as a special order and declined, but whatever the case, was happy to add to my collection.

sadly my calvi is too big for my cards, so I stuff it with Gavrol ginger chew blister packs (from Canada),
bandaids, occasional cash; hair ties, whatnot. My other h card case is a bit tight, so it’s a Goldilocks dilemma.

Oh thats very interesting. I cannot believe someone would decline a special order that they designed themselves lol. And not to mention that ombre lizard is a beautiful exotic and pattern. Congrats on that lizard calvi!
How long have you had this Calvi now, and any signs of wear or damage?

I'm considering both box and lizard calvis. Have your box and lizard shown any signs of wear? Particularly curious about lizard over time since I've heard that lizard is a very delicate hermes exotic leather. Any deep scratches on the box leather?
