Hi everyone.

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of the different types of leathers Calvis are offered in.

I saw one advertised as Togo, but didn't seem right.

I have not seen any Calvis in Togo. Not sure if this is comprehensive but these are the leathers I have seen Calvis in so far:
Alligator
barenia
barenia Fauborg
box
chamkila
epsom
evercolor
lizard
madame
mysore
ostrich
peau porc
silkiss lambskin
swift

This is by no means comprehensive...I've seen it in chevre (two kinds), box, porc, matte alligator (I think it was alligator), ostrich, barenia (smooth and faubourg), evercolor, epsom. I've never seen it in togo. I'm not an expert, just a fan of calvis.

I am looking for a croc calvi as well! Does anyone know if the stock in New York City is any good? I am heading there for the weekend from Toronto. And I’ve been on the wait list for one, but so far nothing. Just wanted to see if maybe New York has better stock

NYC probably does have good stock. Pre-pandemic, I feel like stores used to have a lot more SLGs (even more on the website).

Sorry, I meant this as a reply to @vlg question about the sale but yes, they for sure had bags here just out. I bought a garden party and a herbag by just walking in. Now the shelves are literally bare And, it used to be if you wanted the non-quota bags, you could just go in, ask, and literally...

I have kept cash in my calvi and it was fine. Now I use it for just cards and stuff the occasional dollars in my bastia, if I’m not using my regular wallet.

Congrats on the new job!

If you want to keep cash + cards, I recommend a duo instead of the regular calvi. Cards won’t slip around in the outer pocket as long you keep a few together (it could slip around if you only keep one in there). The cash sits securely in the inner pocket and you can even put coins in the button enclosure if you like.

Congratulations on the new job! I love my Calvi (especially when carrying a smaller bag), and would definitely recommend it if you don't use much cash. I personally don't, and typically keep my cards in one half with a small amount of cash folded in the other half. They don't fall out, but it wouldn't fit a huge wad of bills so if you tend to use cash a lot it wouldn't be the best wallet for you.

I always get lucky when traveling with scoring items I’ve been wanting! Initially went in and they had a duo in Celeste but I already have a regular Calvi in that color. So decided not to get it and then decided to go back and get it because duos are so hard to find! But they didn’t have it anymore… instead they had a Calvi duo verso in Gold/Vert Fizz! So I’m happy that I went back and finally managed to snag a duo 🥰.
