Agree, the gator ones are kinda insane-- although I say that as someone who owns one and has no regrets :angel:

The ostrich ones are (imo) easier to justify. To use the universal H currency, ostrich calvi = cashmere shawl, so $1100 US + tax.

Oh I hear you! I wld love to have one in gator actually. Those are so handy and when you think about the cost per wear.... well it’s a no brainer!

Oh my, well, at that cost, it’s a complete no brainer! :graucho: One day one of those gator ones will be mine, too!

I wonder what other colours will make an appearance?!

however . . . the way the skin is cut to balance the pattern of the scales is very skilful - as you would expect
but . . . you do not get much for your money compared with the craftsmanship in a bag.
The multiplier for an exotic Calvi against the cost of standard leather is much greater than it is for bags.
