I'm not Epsom's greatest fan, but for the Calvi it is a hero .
I've had mine for 3 years and stuff it with cards, money and receipts .It still looks very good.
I do find things fall out into the bag occasionally , but my fault for overfilling.

So my hermes was having an event where you can get certain items heat stamped this weekend. I ended up purchasing a calvi for this sole purpose. I wanted epsom but my SA was told epsom would be blind stamp only while chèvre you can get silver. Needless to say I got chèvre. Purchased this and got it heat stamped on the same day. SA boxed it up and I unboxed it today. My question: is it normal to have the black peeking through on chèvre as if the color rubbed off??

Oh, just replied in your other post, without seeing these pictures. No, this doesn't look normal. But, if it's any consolation, I didn't notice the black until the images were enlarged.
divinexjanice, that must have been a fun surprise to learn they offered the same-day silver monogram! I'm curious if it was done by an in-house artisan or if they trained a non-artisan to do the stamping. I'm also wondering if you noticed the black peekaboo issue when you initially (no pun intended) selected the Calvi, or whether that may have happened during the stamping process. Were you able to observe them doing the stamping, or did they take it in the back?

Hello fellow Calvi-lovers, I'm cross-posting a new matte Bleu Electrique gator Calvi here from the "What was your last Hermes purchase?" thread. I'd love to know if any other Calvi fans have spotted other colors out there in the wild-- or even others like this one. A couple of members asked me about availability of this one, and I couldn't give a good answer; all I know is that NYC got two, those two were gone in a flash, and the SA said he didn't think more than a handful were made. Like so many things with H, a cloud of mystery surrounds production numbers.... 
I used one as my main wallet for about 10 years— it fits a seemingly endless stack of credit cards, and you can slip folded cash in there too. The one I just posted above I will probably use for business cards only. They are super-versatile and so compact!
@kcrawford I just realized you might have meant the new larger calvis! Those I don’t have, but I’m curious too and hope someone chimes in.
I believe the pouch fits an iPad mini in one side. You could use it as a portfolio for folded or smaller papers, etc. I've been considering getting one as a receipt/coupons/papers holder or to throw my phone and some cash into for a quick clutch.

Oh my goodness, that sounds spectacular! Rose Extreme! How perfect that that glamorous beauty was hiding out in Cannes. I would love to ogle it if you have time to share a photo.
