Never knew they were so popular!

Since i'll be using this instead of a wallet, and keeping it in my pockets instead of a bag, having it not bulge is a big deal to me!

Pity i can't order from the H.com

For those of you who have multiples, do you prefer Epsom or chèvre, and why?

I have 2 calvi in epsom and a bastia in chevre. I prefer them in epsom as they hardly show any wear at all and easy to wipe off minor dirt or stain. My chevre bastia on the other hand looks worn and becomes very soft even though I hardly use it .

Having a few kelly wallets in chevre and long silk-in in epsom, I now prefer epsom leather for small leather goods. They wear like tanks.

On the other hand, I much prefer Togo, clemence or box leather for bags.....

This is all really interesting as I have been looking at the Calvi recently. I've always avoided Epsom as I dislike it's 'plasticy' appearance but I can see how it would wear well whilst I save chevre and togo for the big 'statement' bags. I love the idea of more than one in bright colours - I'm doomed!

My favorite is rose shocking chevre. I have carried it every day for at least 5 years and it still looks almost new.

I prefer chevre as epsom is very stiff and tends to wear on the edges. But both are good options.

Every few months I rub a baby wipe over my calvi and it takes off any surface dirt that might have accumulated.

Huge calvi fan!

I've got two, and they are awesome little contraptions. I will get more, but they are plentiful, so I can be choosy with the colors I want.

I try not to get too many skins outside of cow or deer, so if I don't have to buy chevre, I won't.

Thanks for your responses. I think I want chèvre (I'm a sucker for the feel of softer leather), but will have to see what my boutique has. I definitely see one or two of these in my future!

I got both Epsom and Chevre and they both wear very well. I too use a baby wipe to clean the leather and it doesn't take the color out. It removes any grease or dirt. I've a Rose Lipstick in Chevre and it seems to stay clean after months of use. I got lighter colors like Soufre and Rose confetti and will not bring them out until the Summer. Just remind me that I should swap out my Rose Lipstick to another Blue Electric just for fun.

You won't go wrong with either leather.

Would love to collect one in Bamboo if they make it in Epsom.

I'm so glad that I found this thread. I'm actually going to be going to my local H to check out the Calvi's in person. I currently use a LV key pouch as my wallet, as well as a Comme Des Garcon huge wallet.

I'm looking for something compact that can hold my cards + some cash. This seems perfect for me!

I had used a porquerolles for 2 years, and was stuffing all of my cards in there (about 6), and when I spotted the anemone calvi back in December I snatched it because I loved the colour and at the time I didn't buy it for its functionality. Now I use it everyday, and it is so convenient and holds so much! I put receipts, money on one side, and all of my cards on the other. Goes great with a Chanel WOC. :)

I was on the hunt for a bright coloured Calvi in epsom but saw this and thought it was cute.

Who knew about the Calvi Pop? It was a surprise to everybody. They had three in store. One with blue sapphire inside and the other bleu cobalt. Also a darker butler leather but I thought that a bit masculine.

Veau Butler natural on the outside and souffre on the inside.
