For those of you who have multiples, do you prefer Epsom or chèvre, and why?
For those of you who have multiples, do you prefer Epsom or chèvre, and why?
I have 2 calvi in epsom and a bastia in chevre. I prefer them in epsom as they hardly show any wear at all and easy to wipe off minor dirt or stain. My chevre bastia on the other hand looks worn and becomes very soft even though I hardly use it .
Having a few kelly wallets in chevre and long silk-in in epsom, I now prefer epsom leather for small leather goods. They wear like tanks.
On the other hand, I much prefer Togo, clemence or box leather for bags.....
My favorite is rose shocking chevre. I have carried it every day for at least 5 years and it still looks almost new.
I prefer chevre as epsom is very stiff and tends to wear on the edges. But both are good options.
Every few months I rub a baby wipe over my calvi and it takes off any surface dirt that might have accumulated.
Huge calvi fan!
I was on the hunt for a bright coloured Calvi in epsom but saw this and thought it was cute.
Who knew about the Calvi Pop? It was a surprise to everybody. They had three in store. One with blue sapphire inside and the other bleu cobalt. Also a darker butler leather but I thought that a bit masculine.
Veau Butler natural on the outside and souffre on the inside.
