Greetings! I am a bit late on Calvi Duo band wagon. 
It's so beautiful and I would love to get one. I have been checking on Hermes website but I haven't seen one for weeks now.Is it available in the USA? Any tips or help on getting one? Thank you in advance for your help.

Per translation from German they are indeed those obstacle poles.
The description says it is a pattern designed by Gianpaolo Pagni, an Italian artistry. And yes they are supposed to be obstacle bars for horses
I think they are trickling in perhaps ! I just got one from my SA in vert criquet epsom. Slightly larger than the regular CalviGreetings! I am a bit late on Calvi Duo band wagon.

I recently purchased a matte noir alligator Calvi and noticed that its much more thicker in profile than my epsom one that I've had for years. Will it also flatten out over time or is this just a characteristic of exotic skinned calvis?

Mine has stayed thicker in profile--I used it fairly heavily for a few months before taking it out of rotation (I used it along with my Clic H cardholder in my Evelyne TPM).
I too, am late to the Calvi Duo fan club. Particularly the one with the contrasting bit of leather on the interior (I think that is the Duo Verso?)
I was looking for a smaller but very practical piece as a first purchase from Hermès, and I think this is it! But, of course there are none online. There is a store in Oahu, but I live in Maui. Would it be worth it to call to inquire? I don’t have any history, so maybe it would be better to just watch the site?
