Hey everybody,
I need some advice and some input here . I will be honest I’m kind of over the whole wallet thing . And kind of want to divide my loose change, cards and cash in separate areas for organization. Right now I have the Bastia in cactus I purchased in Venice . But I was considering a Calvi for cardholder. But I don’t carry too many cards besides my ID, emergency credit card, and Heath insurance card . I don’t know if the Calvi would be too big for that. But also I want something to carry loose cash and I don’t know what SLG I look for. The bag I carry is the Evelyne GM so there is no complaints there . But now I want to make a fun rainbow . I like the idea of having everything separated because it can make things more organized. But I don’t know if you can carry cash and cards in the Calvi? Thank you .

You might want to check out a store if you're near one - besides Calvis and Bastias, my store has tons of other card and coin holders, some of which I've not even seen online. Maybe they are older models, I don't know. Last time I saw a small card holder shaped like an envelope, a coin holder that opened up like origami, a Silk'In compact wallet (which I've seen online as well) as well as a Silk'In coin purse. Could be worth checking out!

The Calvi is not that thin so I'm sure it could accommodate some folded bills, unless you're carrying wads of cash of course :D

The Calvi is perfect for this purpose: cards in one pocket/side, cash/bills in the other!

I carry cash and cards in my Calvi. These days no one needs a lot of cash. My Calvi currently hold four US bills folded, seven plastic cards (CCs, museum cards, APEC, etc) and six paper cards (loyalty cards, other memberships) and I'd say it's as full as I would want it to be, meaning not overstuffed. It could hold lots more. If you only have three cards (wow!) you can put in more cash.
The Calvi plus contactless pay has completely replaced my wallet.

I absolutely put both cash and cards in my calvi. And a couple of band aids, too!

I love the Calvi and put cards on one side and cash on the other. But I use that mainly in small purses. For larger bags, I use that mainly for backup cards that I don't pull out all the time. I still like the idea of a wallet and even a Kelly wallet when I travel.
What do you ladies do with coins? In Europe this is especially a nuisance when one is always using both paper and coins.

I rarely use any kind of cash. A few bills for emergencies and the very few spots that don’t take a debit card. The less one uses cash the fewer coins one ends up with which is probably why I never have Euro coins.

My system is modular so I can leave behind everything but cards when I pare down to smaller bag. I use a Calvi for department store cards, museum passes, business cards, etc. Credit cards and emergency cash in a tiny Moynat card case. Bastia for bills and hateful coins. Works well for me, although I wish I had kept my second Calvi so I could separate business cards to it.... I think I feel another one coming on to match the new Bastia I need to get for fall.

I hate coins too. What you can do is get a thin (Hermes?) zip pouch for cash. For coins, I got a flat Muji plastic makeup brush / makeup tools case (looks like a flat ziploc snack bag but from sturdier material). I place that inside with my cash and keeps things well-organized
