Just received my SO Basti...To say that I am quite disappointed is a bit of an understatement. The font for the marking is not the one I ordered and the lettering is not consistent over the 3 initials I asked for...
Whilst they clearly specify that they will not accept returns, I think the item received is defective.

Sorry for your disappointment as you were very eager to receive this. :sad: :nogood: Whist it is stated that returns are not accepted for customized items, could you perhaps call CS and explain your situation to them? It isn't because you changed your mind or didn't like the colors you chose, but the initials weren't done properly.

I had asked my SA this question as stores would be offering this service next year. She had mentioned that it'll likely be evaluated on a case to case basis if for example an issue like yours occurred as the item has initials and thus, can't be sold to another customer.
 
Thanks @Meta. I did reach out to CS. Unexpectedly, one of the NBS SA took my call which made for a pleasant conversation. I was asked to send an email via the online contact form.
Although the quality of the embossing could be considered a matter of personal perception, H cannot argue that the font used does not match my order. I’ll just have to wait now. Hopefully not another 3 weeks...

Feel sad for you! The G also appears to be placed lower than the other two letters and let’s not even talk about that H. Even if it was in the font you ordered, just not good enough. Hope they resolve it for you very quickly. :console:
 
H seem eager to sort this out quickly. Shame I cannot print the return label whilst we are still in lockdown so it will have to be posted to me from Paris. They will (of course) make me a new Bastia but- for some reasons- will not change the specs of the original one. Just wanted to get rid of the initials now but apparently that’s not possible. It looks like Xmas did NOT come early in the end as the pick up is scheduled for 27/11 and I suppose the replacement will still take a week or 2 to arrive back.
