Calvi + Bastia

I have been unable to order a personalised Bastia from the France website for the past few days. Whenever I “Add to Cart”, I get the following error (I Google-translate the page by default on my browser). Anyone else experienced the same issue?

Yeah, that happened to me too when I was trying to order a personalised Calvi. And I made the mistake of switching over to the German website and made the purchase there. Seeing a lot of people on this thread getting theirs within 3 weeks of order, I'm still waiting for mine 6 weeks in...Sigh...

An email confirmation? They called me the day after I ordered mine (originally on Oct. 19th, but I changed it so my new order date was the 20th), but I have not heard a thing since.

I just put 18 full thickness plastic cards in one of mine and it was full but not to the point of compromising the structure. I typically carry around twelve.

Love SLGs, so easy to maintain and lightweight and can be in any random wild colors too. Ask for a Verso.

Jaune Bourgeon is Sooo cute! It's the perfect pastel yellowish green colour. I bought it from the NL site, and the box Calvi from the FR site whilst patiently waiting for the Calvi from the DE site "In Bearbeitung ".

@ganrd if you don’t mind, Let US know how the box holds up... I was very tempted but being gifted with sturdy fingernails, I wasn’t too sure I should get a box slg, when I am already scratching up my box bags just trying to close them.... TIA

It's been holding up really well, mind you I've only had it for less than a month. I'm sure there will be scratches and dents in a few years time, but they will blend in with the patina afterwards. Plus the oils and warmth from our hands when we're using the calvi will speed up the patina process I reckon. I think you should get one! It's such a pleasure to touch isn't it, the box leather. Having a box SLG will give you more opportunity to touch the box leather than a box bag...and when you switch up your bag, you can still feel the beautiful box leather.
