any other radiant cut girls out there?

mine is a 3ct radiant cut perfect square (most are rect)in platinum setting w platinum band. its cool because it was cut by Henry Grossbard who invented the radiant cut (which was later copied and called the princess cut), and he died 3 months after he cut my stone (the value then went up by about $3.5K which is cool). I LOVE LOVE LOVE it, DH did such a good job, I was expecting like 1.5 ct, he shocked me! I now have it with a platinum wedding band (have an eternity band but dont wear it every day, these pics are from when we were engaged). It was custom made by an awesome local family jeweler who we love who just happened to be one of only two radiant cut dealers in North Texas

this is what happens when your husband goes to fire drill for the evening and you're left with nothing but a new camera, jewelry and sex and the city reruns to entertain yourself. :smile1: oh and please excuse my hideous nails. yee.

the first is a peridot ring i "borrowed" from my mother (we share the same birthstone and she's never getting this back :smile1:) she found it in a pawn shop in the late 70s. it's the only peridot i've ever seen that i like the shade of....it looks neon in the picture, but in most lights it's a very light soft spring green.

the second is my class ring. (it's the one on the top. the one on the bottom is my wedding band that's posted elsewhere in this thread) it's three 10 point diamonds in 10k white gold. i didn't want a traditional class ring, wasn't my style....but it still has my name and graduation year on it.

and right after i get done saying traditional class rings aren't my style....the third is my brother's class ring. it's very sentimental and the only one of the three i actually wear on a daily basis.
