My pictures are not too hot but they're much improved from when I started. I usually have to turn off the flash, find a nice sunny spot and experiment. I take a ton of shots and pick the best ones. Also cleaning the jewelry first is essential for maximum sparkle.

I figured it was a flash issue, for some reason I can't turn mine off :shrugs: oh well, its time for a new camera anyway

I can't find that I ever posted mine here so here it is

.... It's Scott Kay, had to wait a while b/c they had to create a mold to make the setting small enough or something like that because my finger is a size 3.....

Gorgeous Lola24!

wow

I got engaged last night! :yahoo: Here are my pictures! I'm a really bad photographer, so the pictures really don't do the ring justice. My fiance did an awesome job working with a jeweler to custom make the ring. We're not entirely sure what the total carat weight is, but the center stone is a 1.19 carat cushion brilliant cut, D color and VS1. It's in a "halo" setting with 16 little diamonds and a gorgeously detailed platinum band. I have small hands and short fingers, so the ring looks HUGE...I'm so incredibly thrilled. :yahoo: :wlae: :yahoo:

I love this setting! It's been my all time favorite since I was about 17 and I saw it in a Bridal magazine my cousin had. My BF and I went and looked at rings recently and I showed him that one and another style. You are so lucky, it's just so beautiful!

Oh thanks for the compliments ladies. Yeah I do love them. Funny enough I saw this ring set in In Style way back in the 90's and I wanted it. I just feel blessed and happy I could have my dream ring from the start and I will not be upgrading. My husbands feelings were that I have to love it since I will be wearing it forever and he is really happy with the purchase and how it sparkles. The specs are Michael B petite crown lace collection with 42 diamonds in the setting in clusters of 6 or 7 (I cant remember) to form a lace pattern in platinum. And the centre stone is 1.01 C RB ideal cut hearts and arrows Gia D VS2 purchased from GoodoldGold in long island and then shipped to Michael B's studio in Studio City and the ring was formed. I think the size is 3.5 or 3.75. Anyhow my husband was happy my hands are small so I didn't have to have super huge stone esp because I have a very delicate setting. So I love my lace set, it's very pretty to me.

Kristie--love your ring! Mine is a micro pave halo around the solitaire stone as well.

I have a 1 carat eternity band that I wear when I ride my horse too :) Don't have to worry about anything getting snagged! LOL
