i love your rings. the setting is simple yet original. unless it's an antique ring, i usually like just plain solitaires with no other diamonds on the sides and i like plain gold bands, no pavé diamonds or eternity bands but yours are gorgeous, proof that there are exceptions to the rule

I love this setting! It's been my all time favorite since I was about 17 and I saw it in a Bridal magazine my cousin had. My BF and I went and looked at rings recently and I showed him that one and another style. You are so lucky, it's just so beautiful!
Thanks! I got it from a small scale jewellery store in Toronto..it's definitely not brand name or designer. I wonder if you can get it custom made in a similar style? I like the band especially..it's squiggly!

Please show us some better and more pics of your ring! The ring is so Nicole Richies first ring, but bigger and non colored. I'm getting a new ring and band because mine are cutting my fingers. They are to tight now and I'm going to have a 16,14 ct light blue topaz (I fell in love eith the stone) and a halo mad of white brilliant cut diamonds. I really want some inspiration and I saw your ring. It's exactly the same ring I want.
Don't worry. I live in Sweden so there will be no one near you (I hope) with a ring that is inspired by yours.

It is a 1.6 carat vvs2 I color asscher with a platinum diamond halo...I believe around .4 carats in the halo and band.
I got it almost two years ago...and I still LOVE it!

i know you'll see a lot of bling in this thread, but i'll step up for the dainty diamond girls.i looooove my ring. it's a .25 carat emerald cut diamond in a antique bezel setting that adds an extra "facet." (hard to discribe, but you can see what i mean in the second photo) from far away it makes my ring appear about the proportions of a half carat stone. i wear a size 6.5ish ring. i wasn't blessed with elegant hands sadly...
hubby and i are playing with the idea of of having it reset in a halo setting because i've recently fallen madly in love with them. we'll see...

Wow! That is only .25 carats?!! It looks more like 1 carat. I was looking at diamonds last weekend and your diamond looks a large as that. I guess the stone really looks a lot different once it is set but I have to say it is all confusing.
