How is it possible that Calcaire cities would have two different season numbers?!?!

I just looked at my 3 ink cities

I guess this would indicate that the last number is a "lot number"??? Or could it possibly be related to the actual number of bags they produced?? Nevermind, I just saw that it could not be the latter, because some of the bags in the same year/season/color have the same last number.

I think we do have to assume that occasionally a card would have been mixed up with the wrong bag, especially at non-Bal stores where the SAs may not know it's really important to keep the correct card with the right bag. If they look at the year, season and style, they might think it's all correct...

But everyone's contributions here will make this work!
