**Buying from Fashionphile** shopping experiences/questions

Just wanted to share for those that may not be aware. If you purchased a bag from Fashionphile prior to the September 12th update in the buy back program your purchase has been adjusted to the downgraded percentage. I purchased a bag at the beginning on the month the buy back has been adjusted to the new percentage. Essentially we've lost money on our purchases and they have benefitted from an additional profit. I think this is not fair to backdate their new policy. Anything purchased prior to September 12th should be honored at the terms in place at the time it was bought. The good news is they are single handedly helping me swim to ban island and stay off their site.

When a purse goes down 5%, is there a chance that it will just go back to the original price? The 5% might be the best discount I can get.
My experience is the bags keep going down in price until they are sold. They seem to go back to the original price if they are returned and reposted on the website. I usually wait till they are at 20% discount - these tend to sell the fastest. I get alerts in my emails on the markdowns:yes:

In my experience with Fashionphile they tend to only go down while a product is listed. I don't think I've ever seen a Fashionphile listing price go up (it probably does happen but rarely). The only website I deal with that I've seen somewhat regular price increases for listings on is Madison Avenue Couture. (I run a website that aggregates data from all of these so you can search in one place so I see a lot of product listing data)

I did a return and got the full refund (no shipping deduction). Was that a mistake on their part or did they drop the return label fee? The warning i got before I printed the label said it was $14.99 but that wasn't taken. Has this happened recently to anyone? The bag was a Birkin so maybe it was waived??

Thanks to the ladies that posted about their lack of UPS updates - I am currently going through that right now and a bit panicking as it is a five figure purchase (and I live in a porch pirate heavy city). Sigh. Not FP fault as they’ve been very cooperative. Will keep you all posted.

I never have problems with UPS updating their site with a delivery from FP. They won't just leave a package on the doorstep/porch, because their deliveries are always with signature, so if nobody is home, they won't leave it. They'll attempt delivery the next business day. Several times I've had to go to UPS directly and pick it up because my UPS always delivers around 12-2 and I'm always at work. So don't fret. They probably haven't delivered it yet.

This has been my experience as well.

You were right! But now I am playing a game of catch with the delivery driver - missed two delivery attempts. Did you call FP and request to pick it up from UPS? It's not giving me the option to online, stating FP has some type of restriction on their packages
