My reply:

It is incumbent upon me as reader of this communique to take umbrage at the imposition it has inflicted on me, which has bereft me of my senses, hitherto maintained by strict adherence to a modicum of civility that beseems a (bag)lady such as myself.

BTW: I canNOT BeeeLieve this crap is still going on!

Wow - never knew that. T4P. Once again, I've learned something new! :smile1:

Today's communications ...
It is quite interesting how you bemoan the futility of the back and forth yet continue and propagate it. Ms. Abramson, please be aware that whilst you may have convinced yourself that you're the wronged party, it is I who has paid you money in good faith and I who is hitherto bereft of that money as well as the item I bid on.

Note also that it is incumbent upon you as the seller -not upon me as the buyer- to clarify opaque terms of sale, and I will take no responsibility for meanings inferred or intentions misinterpreted. Having said that, I'm quite aware that misunderstandings such as this do, from time to time, arise. That's quite acceptable. What I take great umbrage at and will not accept, however, is being addressed discourteously and condescendingly. It would have beseemed you, in trying to reach a cordial conclusion to this affair, to have maintained a modicum of civility when corresponding with me.
To that end, please cease communications until the item's return. Thank you.

Unfortunately you're in a bad situation. Could you agree to refund him a bit of the cost - say $20 - on the condition that he leaves you positive feedback before you do the refund? You would be out of pocket by at least that much if Paypal refunds him everything includinig the shipping cost. And 100% positive fb (for me at least) is worth $20

IMO not good advice. EBay will consider this feedback extortion

^Sadly, no resolution yet, Coachfreak. I'm still waiting for the agenda to make its way back to me. Hopefully, it's 1) going to turn up and 2) still be NWTs. Not sure what customs does during an inspection. I shipped it in the Chanel box, beautifully wrapped in tissue with ribbon (that's how I ship everything) then in a bubble padded envelope inside a shipping box. Somehow, I don't thing it's going to be returned in that condition

Honestly, I'm not even that worried about the fb at this point. If he negs me, I intend to fight it & hopefully, the bay will remove the neg. If not, I will at least be sure to respond to the neg, and hopefully, buyers will be able to figure out what happened. At this point, I just want my item back!!
