Butler leather, has anybody experienced with this leather?

Thank you for your feedback on the leather comparison. Such a great insight.

I really do love the colour of neutral sable on this leather... its bright but still so muted and neutral. So would be keen to see how dark colours turn with butler.

Hey eveyone! I have searched in the forum for butler but didn’t see much discussion around it.

I’m very curious about Butler. Some say it is very close to Barenia but, to me, it’s very much like box. Plus it doesn’t seem like to become darker over time like Barenia.

My question is: does Butler get to recover easily like Barenia? Does it get scratched very easily? Would it recover like Barenia or Box if go thru H Spa?

Don't know how you did your search but I did a quick search by typing "Butler" and here is the most replied thread, only a few down from the top of the search results:

Butler does not undergo the multiple tanning process that gives Barenia its particular qualities.
I had seen Butler described as being similar to Evercalf.

I think a Sable Butler Constance will become a classic like a BBK.

I have the same bag I just got her from Japan. Since the sales associate cannot speak English well it’s hard to ask her about this leather. I do own a swift lindy. The veau bulter is very smooth and more shiny but it does look like very easily to scratch.

Thanks for the reply! I’m so sorry that I didn’t notice there was a set of options available for searches. So I got pages of butler posts talking about price of Roulis. Now I know.
And great to be on this discussion. I’ve already bought the Constance! Can’t take my eyes away from her! Such a lovely color, plump and shiny at the same time! Devine. :)

Yeah - got it from JP too. :)
I was worried about the scratches as well. But just can’t give up on it. Having read thru all the discussions here. I’m glad that I bought it.

Hi, So i have mini Constance as well now for few weeks... and No scratches at all, does not appear to me that it scratches . Why do you worry about it? Did your handbags scratched badly? Can you send photos?

Same same which store did u get it from? I m curious is this leather more expensive than Espom or swift? Do you know about it? I was just trying to calculate the price difference of Japan.
