I just got the serpenti chain wallet / small xbody in gold out of impulse as it is selling out everywhere in London! What are the risks with the gold leather ? I’m receiving the bag later in the week

Yes I can hide the strap inside the bag but you can still see the strap at the side of the bag as attached :biggrin:

Um what?! The bag is not even 2 years old and I wore it maybe maybe 5 times in all.
Otherwise it was stored carefully. It shouldn't have these rust colored marks inside the flap.
Honestly I'm so turned off and even with a flawless repair, I will never be relaxed using the bag. I feel like it just lost its appeal.
I bought this bag for a milestone and now the bag is just spoiled for me.

I wish I could get a refund and put this to rest.
And yes I'm aware that it's only a bag, a material possession that I'm obsessing over & distraught over, and I apologize.

@A bottle of Red - just wondering if there is an update on your bag repair? Has Florence done anything with it?

You inspired me to reach out again so hopefully I will get a response this time
Eta I called corporate, they said they're 'only customer service and can't help'. If customer service can't help and neither is the main store on fifth Avenue who can?
I'm so soured on this brand. I thought they had quality products and stood by them but apparently not.
