Bulgari Serpenti Bag. Is It Worth It?

I love Bvlgari’s galuchat. Excellent workmanship with a brilliant colour. This is my galuchat bag. No regrets buying it and it is worth it in my opinion given the quality. It sparkles against the light and the head has malachite stones in place.

This is incredible! Is this the mini version? Is this available now or is this an older Serpenti?

I finaly got the opportunity to check the green reverse model in the shop. It’s very nice - beautiful (and quite neutral) color, stunning gold hardware that complements the forrest green perfectly, puffy luxurious design. The calf leather (smooth with a very small texture) looks more durable and robust compared to the lamb of the maxi chain model (lamb). However it looks even smaller IRL and not practical - as I expected, the puffiness takes away from the space of the bag and unfortunately it only fits my phone in the main compartiment, leaving almost no space for other stuff; and, as it already looks a bit bulky from the side, you cannot put too many things inside. The good thing is that it has a slip back pocket where you can fit your phone vertically, however it will look really bulky. Thought it is a gorgeous special occasion bag, I will probably not go for it for the reasons mentioned above. Sharing few pictures for reference in case someone else is interested in this new model.

The boutique I bought from was very rude and basically said take care of it myself.
The flagship in nyc said I can send it for repair, but my local shippers can’t properly insure them.
I requested an insured label from them but didn’t get one.
That's horrible! I saw this link https://www.bulgari.com/en-us/after-sales-services/accessories--page__services.html maybe this can help. They should be able to assist you on this. Try asking for a store manager or just go there personally a lot of time people are indifferent over the phone. Hopefully this get fix before it get worse

I finally got the label! Going to send it in, not sure how long the process will take. I truly hope they repair it well, as it’s an expensive bag

Well I didn't hear back so I emailed them & was just told it will take another 8-10 weeks for repair and I still have no idea how much the repairs will cost me.
For the amount these bags cost, I'm not impressed.
ETA these bags are also just a few years old and the Karung used a handful of times

This is ridiculous and quite a bummer when you think you finally got a good brand. Sigh hopefully they charge the repair for free but it's LVMH so I don't expect anything free.

Does anyone have the contact information for the Nyc manager?
I'm getting contradictory emails from two different sales associates and I'm very aggravated.
I tried google but I didn't find the manager's email address.

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer to your query but please let us know the outcome of your situation. I have a Karung Serpenti piece from a few years ago that doesn't have any problems (at the moment) as it's not used very often but I would be very interested to see how Bvlgari handles this for you (and if they charge you for the repairs). So far, their after-sales service doesn't seem at all satisfactory from your recent posts.
