Bulgari Serpenti Bag. Is It Worth It?

The shade should be out in July based on my experience in how Bvlgari launches different colours for the fall.
However at this point, there is no shade or SKU code and although I'm certain this will be produced. There are times certain colours are either exclusive to countries or cancelled due to poor sales.

As for my region, all the mini cabochon bags and serpenti jewelry box bag sold out almost immediately upon stores receiving them.

Did you get the jewelry box? Can you inspire and enable us with a mod shot and share what fits in it? TIA!

Oh wow I somehow missed so many posts on this thread…
Those new bags look stunning, the deep gold and pale pink especially!
I’m shocked to hear someone had issues with split seams , @v_bianca_m can you lmk the YouTuber please?

My white bag is more of a creamy color with yellow undertones & I was worried about it getting yellow but so far it’s ok.
I would have preferred a cooler white but haven’t found one yet.
Hi, this is the video:

Hi, this is the video:

Thanks for the video! Yea I saw this one before. It was her microscopicly examining the miniscule detail of the bag and guesstimating what could have happen to the stitching in later time but did not happen yet. She talked about potentially leather cracking where the hardware is but I saw no cracking on her bags so correct me if I'm wrong but in my opinion she's just over analyzing everything. I am not trying to be bias here but I had one incident on my bulgari bag and my lv epi and empreinte leather which made me realize how good the bulgari quality. I was wearing out for the whole 2 weeks straight my bulgari casablanca from errands to night out then after the end of 2 weeks I finally decided to switch bag but since the casablanca is in lighter color I decided to clean it 1st with baby wipes (non alcohol) before storing it, as I am going through my closet on which bag to wear next that night I picked up my LV bags that's closest to me and wiped them off with baby wipes as well. Without minding anything I just went and about my business the following day and it was around the afternoon when I noticed that my less than 2 months LV in epi leather looks dusty as I examined the bag closer it has these white tiny dust/lint all over and the black leather looks dull and faded , it puzzled me for a bit where these dust came from then I remember it's from the baby wipes. I wiped my bag with wet paper towels, dry paper towels, rubbed it with my fingers but to no avail and it won't come off. So later that night I went back to my closet and examined my other lv bag in empreinte leather and this one looks very dry and wrinkly and has no life on it then I checked my bulgari bag the leather on the side looks dry but did not wrinkle , no issue on the print, so I grabbed some leather conditioner and put it on the bags in a hope to rescue it. Bottom line I was able to resuscitate the Bulgari bag good as new and the LV end up as a headache as 1 LV never do spa treatment or leather restoration so I had to bring the bag to a local cobbler that do bags and he tried his best to restore the 2 bags which cost me $ 632.

Yes after a few weeks of wearing my cream Bvlgari bag I wiped it off with leather cleaner and conditioner and it’s good as new.
My karung wallet is very sturdy and has no issues with constant use
Going to watch that video, I’m curious what she says

Ok just watched it and I was surprised to see that scuff on the blue one in store.
Im not sure I can see the leather splitting she showed on the top handle nor on the blue one. Did any of you see it?
(She mentioned she didn’t see it on other top handled bags, so maybe hers has an issue. )
ETA I got curious and went to examine my bags.
My cabochon does have tiny bits of peeling and oddly shows pinkish underneath the cream. I will attach a picture that is super magnified to show what I mean.

My karung bag doesn’t have the tiny split but it has a weird orange bit right inside that didn’t come off with gentle cleaning. Can’t imagine what it is

Bring it into Bvlgari to look at because when I bought my Galuchat, they mentioned some sort of leather service. Karung if it peels...it will make you cry especially when it is a more expensive sort of leather.

I finaly got the opportunity to check the green reverse model in the shop. It’s very nice - beautiful (and quite neutral) color, stunning gold hardware that complements the forrest green perfectly, puffy luxurious design. The calf leather (smooth with a very small texture) looks more durable and robust compared to the lamb of the maxi chain model (lamb). However it looks even smaller IRL and not practical - as I expected, the puffiness takes away from the space of the bag and unfortunately it only fits my phone in the main compartiment, leaving almost no space for other stuff; and, as it already looks a bit bulky from the side, you cannot put too many things inside. The good thing is that it has a slip back pocket where you can fit your phone vertically, however it will look really bulky. Thought it is a gorgeous special occasion bag, I will probably not go for it for the reasons mentioned above. Sharing few pictures for reference in case someone else is interested in this new model.
