Bulgari Serpenti Bag. Is It Worth It?

I am actually planning on getting this one on white hahha though this one seems small more like a clutch as the diameter is only 1.8 inches so not much you can fit in. Serpenti forever bag I say is a timeless bag. It's synonymous to Bvlgari as to Chanel 2.55. I don't think this style will be outdated anytime soon in fact if you look at the resale market the Bulgari bags are getting more popular maybe because a lot of people now starting to recognize Bulgari not just for its jewelry but now to the quality of their bags. And as for the color yes the more I look at this grey one the more I'm falling inlove nooooo hahah
Argghhh me too! I tried one on tonight,
unfortunately they didn’t have the grey in store but I definitely loved the style of the bag in person. Would have been hard to walk away if they’d had the grey in!!

I need some feedback on a couple of the Serpenti Forever bags I’m trying to decide between!
Initially I was set on getting the crossbody in coral, but after thinking about my collection and the fact that I already own several crossbody chain style bags, my eye has now been caught by the east west shoulder bag in the grey. I’ve always loved grey bags and yet to have one in my collection and I like how this one can be worn in a more casual sense. Love the adjustable strap too.
Would love to hear any thoughts or opinions on these - will the grey one be less timeless long term??
Have included pics for reference.

I think the structured shape of the grey is timeless and the color is such a lovely neutral. I like that the strap on the grey looks to be detachable so you could wear it as a clutch or perhaps find a longer strap to make it crossbody and change up the look! I'm such a fan of bags with detachable straps since that lets you be more creative with the ways it can be worn.

Ooooh that’s a really good point too!

I went in to a store which had the grey in stock today and I had to get it once I saw it in person!! It’s the best neutral and I have no other grey bags in my collection. Early 40th present to myself.
Ended up being an easy decision between that and the coral crossbody - the grey is simply more versatile with the removable strap. BUT I did end up getting a coral coloured Serpenti wallet, so at least I have something small in that colour also. Will take a pic of them both together when I get home!
Bulgari got me good, that’s me done for the rest of this year now.

my personal favourite from the FW 22 collection - the serpenti reverse top handle - finally released online!
Anyone seen one in person? It's very reminiscent of the Mary Katrantzou collaboration that I was so sad to have missed out on

I love this bag! Personally, I prefer this one over the one from the Mary Katrantzou collaboration because of the symmetrical handle.

Yea I agree! It has that Mary Kantrantzou vibe on it! Same here I only got interested on Bvlgari and their bags around March of this year. I went to their flagship store in Rome 2018 and then in Venice 2019 but wasn't so interested as my head was floating on other more popular brand (bag wise) at that time and only checked out their jewelries. Ahh the regret .

Isn't this pretty and look so soft ? The leather reminds me of Chanel lambskin but less puffy than YSL loulou I am on a hunt for a white handbag not so worried about the color transfer but of the discoloration (where white leather turns yellowish over time).

I’m also worried about this :( the white is my favourite colour in this bag, but I think all white bags will oxidize and become yellow over time…pondering getting the beige or black for this reason alone…

Does anyone here own a Bvlagri bag in polished (shiny- metallic) leather? Can someone please please tell if this easily get scratches? This looks like a patent leather to me but maybe not the term Bvlagri used is varnished leather. Was been eyeing on this bag as for my new white bag. Not sure if I go with the chain wallet or another top handle.
