Well ladies, I decided to keep the bag. I was leaving for a 4-day trip and could resist taking her. The weight hasn't been a problem. While it's not the most comfortable bag on the shoulder, it's not bad if I need to carry that way. I like the organization. I put my sunnies, cosmetics case, etc in the center, wallet in the zippered section. Pretty easy to find everything.
The color looked more brownish in the lighting at Nordies. It looks more purple in sunlight. But to me it still goes with most everything.
