Breast Augmentation in Singapore - My Journey

Hi Cindy, is it possible to share how your consultation or phone consult with this clinic went? I'm looking at around the 500-600cc range and from what I saw, the Dr seems to have alot of experience operating with bigger implants. Unfortunately, there's very limited information and reviews, so many unknowns and everything is in Thai. You're literally the only person that mentioned about this clinic. I've reached out to them through Line, but I don't even know if they have a translator. If you could kindly share any details, it would be very much appreciated
Hi~ yes they’re very experienced in bigger implants.. i will only be visiting in mid Nov.. yes there’s very limited stuff. Doctor can speak and communicate with text very well in English but replies are abit slow due to his work. You can wait for their line replies thou. I’ll keep this space updated once I’m done w the consultation in Nov..

Hi all. I’m new to this forum. Anybody has done Ergonomix 2 in Thailand? How much does it cost in Thailand?

Also, does anyone care to share the diff between Ergonomix 1 & 2? I understand Ergonomix 2 is softer but is it really significantly softer to touch when put inside the breast? I’ve shortlisted to do Ergonomix 2 with Dr Colin Tham locally but I’m still considering given the high cost.

Hoping ladies here can help give some advice!
I’ve been to SW1 to press on the texture Ergonomix 2 is softer in texture but if you’re going under muscles then I guess there won’t be of much diff due to the muscles. But all clinics in Thai carry Ergonomix 2.. I think demands are not high there.

Hi everyone. I am still in discovery journey but finally took the first step and did couple of consultation. I have been to Bangkok ART Clinic and saw Dr Ta and Singapore Allure with Dr Ho. Honestly the pricing was not that far apart imo. Dr Ta uses MOTIVA ergonomix 2 and Dr Ho uses Mentor because Motiva is not US-FDA certified. Although he did say he can use motiva if I realily want to, just additional $400 and signing a liability form. So now I am in dilemma. I was prepared to do it in Singapore given pricing really ain’t much savings. Allure clinic is obviously a lot nicer and fancier than Art. And the convenience of doing it without leaving the country. But I don’t know much about Mentor since I assume only motiva is the best. For everyone’s benefit, Allure is quoting 16K and Art is 12K. I did feel comfortable talking to both doctors and no doubt on both their professionalism and skills. Advice anyone?

Hi sorry for the late response. I was so focused on the recovery! I’m about 2.5 months post-op now and I’m superbly satisfied with my new breasts. They are soft and perky. I did eventually went for Ergonomix Joy 2 (have also registered the extended warranty). I got mine done at The Art Clinic. Their service is really good, they have English speaking staff who will walk you through the entire process (end-to-end). While I was at the clinic, I could tell many other patients were there for BA as well. Honestly, I was already out and about shopping on the 3rd day! It’s the best decision/money spent imo, and the whole experience isn’t even as scary as I imagined it to be.
Hi @victoria_ciggarette. So glad to have read your post as I am going to The Art Clinic (Dr Ta) end of this year too. Can't seem to find much about the clinic here but I heard they are popular amongst the locals and he did on many Thai pageants and celebrities. I know usually doctor advise day 7 for post-op review but because of travelling time, I booked the post op consultation on day 5. Do you think it's going to be ok? Anything I should be aware of? I am excited yet nervous

Hi ladies I wna share my botched liposuction done by Evan Woo

I used to have decent butt and thigh. However, they’re now looking horrible and uneven after a botched liposuction done by Dr Evan Woo. Dr Woo suggested to remove some fats around my thigh area to fill up my boobs to make my implant look more natural and i went ahead with his idea. After one year, the transferred fats on my boobs are gone completely.

I’ve wasted money on my liposuction as the result didn’t stay. Honestly I don’t think that’s too much of a problem. But what I cannot tolerate is to live with an uneven and sunken butt and thigh. I’ve highlighted to Dr woo immediately after my surgery as I notice the problem almost instantly. He kept assuring me that they will look better after a few months. But they didn’t.

After almost one year post op, I told him that my butt and thigh are still uneven and there are ugly lines (banana rolls) under my butt. Dr Woo replied: “the banana rolls are there before the surgery. It is NOT because of me.”

Obviously I’m super angry. Anybody with healthy eyes can tell the banana rolls weren’t there before my liposuction surgery. It also shows how irresponsible Dr Woo is as a person.

Ladies please do your research before choosing your doctor. Just because they offer certain service doesn’t mean they’re good at it. Now I need to pay more than 10k to reconstruct my uneven butt. Obviously my reconstruction doctor won’t be Dr Woo.

2C0100A9-D6C5-4F7A-8DB8-BA11CDE68EB1.jpegI have attached before and after lipo pictures. The pic with red arrows pointing at the banana rolls is the after lipo picture. Ladies, please kindly share with me which doctor in SG or overseas is the best at reconstructing botched liposuction at the thigh/butt area

Thank you!

Hi! Did anyone do their BA with Dr Evan Woo before? Can anyone share their exp please
I did. Please don’t bother going to him. He’s an egoistic doctor who doesn’t wna admit his mistakes. I spend 27k for motiva + fat grafting to boobs. Fat grafts on boobs are completely gone nvm, im left with super uneven and sunken thigh.

Attached u my before n after lipo pic. Red arrows pointing at the banana rolls n unevenness

I have not done it, but I have scheduled my surgery in Dec at The Art. For Ergo 2, it's ~THB300K.
GA 10K
Funnel 10K
Blood test and support bra additional ~1.8K. All prices are net including tax.

Hi ladies I have just came back from Bangkok and consulted Wansiri Hospital for BA . Still not sure if I want to go for motiva 1 or Joy motiva which is their motiva 2. Am also thinking of mentor extra gel. Have placed a deposit of 50,000 baht with them and my surgery date will be in Jan 2024. Just curious did you ladies stopped taking vitamins supplements 2-4 weeks before your surgery ?

Hi babe, I’m gonna go for my BA next week at SW1 too. May I know how do you feel the first two days ? I’m getting worried now.

Hello all, wanted to share my experience with cosmacare in bangkok!

Type of implant: Ergonomix Motiva Round Silk Surface
Size: 335(L) 335(R)
Method: Inframammary (under breast) incision + Funnel technique
Problem: Breastfed for 5+ years and puppies have been reduced to nothing but raisins.
Travel companion: Me, myself and i.
Doctor at Cosmacare: Dr Sommart ittipornwanich.
Translator: Nicha
Cost: 152,000 baht (inclusive of medication) + 3600 baht (post op bra x 2) + 1000 baht (post op escort companion, if you are alone)

Day 0:
Arrived at the clinic at 8am. Did the usual covid pre registration and covid swab test. Clinic assistant will request for your pass port for registration.

All of these is done outside the clinic. Its only when you have a negative covid test, you will be allowed to change shoes and enter the clinic.

In the clinic, you will be asked to sign many papers. Please use google lens to translate all documents into english before signing. Please do the necessary due d for yourself.

You will be asked to pay on the spot, cash or credit card)

On hindsight, please prepare cash to take advantage of the currency exchange rates. I didnt do that because i thought they allowed bank transfers and as i was traveling alone , i didnt want to have so much cash on my body.

They will take some photos of you. Shortly after, you will meet with the doctor of your choice. I chose Dr Sommart after seeing all the post op photos of the various doctors. Please note he is slightly more expensive but its marginal.

He would do the measurements again and that's where the size discussion begins. He recommended 315 but i had a bit of boob greed and opted for 335 and that i wanted a small c. He said that was the biggest i would go for and he would recommend. He will advise that you will not be able to shower for 7 days. (Imagine the horrors, i am someone who minimally showers twice a day)

after which , the procedure begins. I have had a couple of surgeries in my life e.g. ent surgeries, c sections and endoscopic surgeries at thomson, nuh, mount e orchard. Their OT is definitely not as pristine as the ones in Singapore but its just a tad more worn than mountain e orchard and i am saying this because , even though mount e orchard is expensive it is really old and dinghy.

The procedure took about an hour or more. It began at 10 am, by 1130am i was rousing and quite pumped to go home. I was already drinking water and walking about unassisted by noon. I will attribute that to the post op adrenaline rush and anesthesia. Hardly any pain.

By 1230pm, i wanted to head back to hotel on my own but they insisted that i needed an escort. On hindsight, its good to have company but not necessary.

Back in the hotel, i slept all the way (45 degrees) till evening.

Day 1:

Bloat + pain + nausea begins.

You feel so bloated, you have no appetite but because of the meds and possibly anesthesia, you feel nauseous.

Advice: prepare eno before hand. Immediate relief. I didn't buy eno till day 4 And really suffered.

Pain level: comparable or less than c section. Discomfort is primarily from the tightness of the chess and bloatedness.

Medicine: cosmacare prescribed panadol (normal pain, tramadol (extreme pain) , domperidone (for vomiting)
I prepared Arcoxia , Norgesic on my own.
What really helped with pain management was panadol or arcoxia during the day and Norgesic during the night. Norgesic causes slight drowsiness.
DO NOT OVERDOSE. TAKE ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS AND TAKE EITHER ALL . DO NOT TAKE ALL AT ONE TIME.

Showered using all known methods to keep my upper body dry. I shampooed my hair bowing down to the taps like a dumb fool while wrapping my boobies with towels to ensure they dont get wet. Haha. You can try using cling wrap.

Drink lots and lots of water, please.

Day 2:

Bloat + pain heightens.

You look and feel like a whale that just gave birth. Mummies will understand. Your boobs are huge like they are engorged and your stomach is bloated.

Slept the day away with meds.

Please order porridge. Of all the food that i ate post op, i felt the best with porridge. I almost immediately regretted all other food e.g. burger, fries, korean ramyeon.

You will possibly only have appetite for less thann one meal serving a day.

Drink lots and lots of water + eno, please.

Day 3:
Bloat + pain + cabin fever heightens.
Took meds and tried to venture out on my own to platinum. Couldn't last outside for more than 2 hours.

I think at this point in time, the body is still very drugged out. Your responses are slower and you just dont feel yourself.

Advice: take walks in and around the hotel not more than 2 hours at a time.

Comforted myself with Hell's kitchen on Netflix.

Food: ordered thai version of their teochew porridge. Felt better but alittle homesick.

At some point in time, you may feel that the pink elastic bandage is causing you chest tightness and that you can't breathe freely. Do loosen it or if you want , remove it for a literal quick breather, but do put it back on soon. This helps the boobs to drop and fluff properly. Elastic tape and post op bra strap must be at the top boob area at all times.

Day 4: bloating + pain subsides. Bloatedness and pain resurfaces periodically. But totally manageable.

Appetite resumes slowly.

Finished my first complete meal (a bowl of yuzu ramen) at dinner in siam square. But almost totally regretted after that. I clearly over ate. Walked all the way back from siam square to hotel in pratunam to ease the bloatedness.

Dont be garang. Dont be greedy. Go easy on food.

Drink lotsa water + eno.

Day 5: bloating + pain subsides significantly. At this point i must say that you feel alot of less bloated but you look bloated. My waist before op was 25" and after that at day 5 i was 29". the aunties in platinum has loudly declared and confirmed that i can't be a M and i am a L.

Went to chatuchak in the morning for 4 hours on my own and came back. Managed to eat 2 bowls of the yummy chatuchak wanton mee.

Drink lotsa water + eno.

Day 6:bloating + pain subsides significantly.

First day having 3 meals. Eversince the misadventure with greasy food on the first 2 days, all my meals have been porridge and soup glass noodles. Please go light on your food.

Went for a review with Dr sommart. The wound hasn't closed completely so he applied more sterilization tapes and adviced that i can only shower 3 days later. My right boob has dropped alittle more than the left and i did asked about it. He mentioned that post op assymetry is quite common and it will balance out subsequently.

He did reiterate about the importance and the discipline required to follow the post op care procedures.

P.S PLEASE REMEMBER TO REGISTER YOUR IMPLANTS FOR WARRANTY.

Day 7: flying back to sg.

This is just my 6 days review. Will share more with time!
