Box shortage ?!

Hi all,

I have purchased the last Chanel classic mini flap in ghw before the price increase!
thanks to one of the member on the forum :)

However, the SA told me since COVID they are all out of wrapping box (the black box) and she will send it to me once it’s back in stock.
Then my other friend who ordered it from the same boutique received her bag with the box... so I texted her if she can send me one but she said my friend was lucky and she will double check the shipment if they received it.

Since then I have not heard anything from her and the bag is sitting in the closet. It has been almost two weeks since I bought it, and it is for my sisters gradation gift so I don’t want to give it to her without the box. I also contacted the Chanel customer care and they said they can’t do anything other than contacting the boutique.

what should I do? I really want to have the box since it is going to be my sisters first Chanel bag and a gift.

Does anyone have advice what should I do? I am slightly getting frustrated :(

Did you try contacting your SA again and explaining your situation? Or asking for the manager as well so she's aware of your situation? Or did you only try once?

I would be adamant, but kind, and explain clearly your situation.

Of course I did but she didn’t even read my text :( I am just concern if she is Not going to send me one. I contacted the SA multiple times within 2 two weeks but not every day of course. She told me she will give me keep posted but no responses. Just worried that I will never get one

Then I would call the store directly, not the SA, and ask to speak to the manager and explain your situation.

Ultimately though, that's all you can do. They can't send you boxes if they don't physically have them, so it's best just to make sure all your bases are covered and all the appropriate parties at the boutique is aware of your situation.

There were imprints from the chain to the interior flap as there was no protective felt sheets to prevent this. Has all your goods came with tissue papers and felt sheets? Could I do an exchange for this?

The box it came with was much bigger than my other classic box. Both medium sized classic.

The mark up only happens on lambskin. I have small indents on my lambskin inside flap from the pocket zip even though bags were shipped with felts. If your bag is lambskin then really nothing can be done. Mine are under flap so it does not bother me.
 
I was told they were out of boxes when I purchased a Boy at Bergdorf NYC in late December. The SA said they'd ship me a box when one became available. Haven't heard anything since.
