Box shortage ?!

I had the same thing happen before Christmas and there are still no boxes. It is just in the boutiques? I use my boxes to store them and it did take out some of the fun of opening for Christmas.

Same thing happened to me, my Small Classic Flap came in a mini box. I told my SA about it and she said they have a shortage and will send me the correct one as soon as they get their shipment.

It's been hit or miss for me. I bought 3 purses on 12/31 at NM and they all had boxes, ribbon, camellia... the full set. The 3 purses I bought in January (boutique, NM and Nordstrom), did not have boxes readily available, but SAs all gave heads up and that they will send once they get stock

Forgot to add I did get my bag shipped in a Saks Fifth Ave box which was a tad snug for the small 19 bag (it fit nicely but I like to have a little more space that way I don’t feel like I’m smushing the bag into the box).

Hello, what boxes are mini squares usually packed in?? I was expecting the same sized box as a mini rectangle but received my square in the box size for medium cf which I thought was a little unnecessarily large hahah

Same. Received a bag from Bergdof Goodman last wk and it came in a BG box with Chanel ribbon and flower. They said they will send a Chanel box once it's back in stock. You would think the bags are sent to the stores in its own box like shoes, but I guess bags and boxes are shipped separately?!?

Yes, they’re meant to be like that. They’re not silky.

Yes, the boxes are sort of flat-packed and the SAs build them up. The bags don’t arrive at the boutiques in those boxes.

I’m shocked and stunned to read all these posts. I’m priced out of the market now but thankfully my collection is complete but I keep all my boxes. What’s more if I was dropping 5K or more Id want the box For the prices they charge i have to say I’m speechless. This alongside declining quality takes the biscuit!

For those that might change your mind and sell your bag down the road it's best to keep the box, receipt, (to the seller like fashionphile - you don't have to mail it.) ribbon, camellia,
all of it.

You will get more money - especially taking a picture of your receipt. Just black mark out the credit card information. They appreciate this immensely and it works.

The purchaser enjoys receiving this as it seems brand new and more exciting. Especially if you take care of your bags and keep them in like new condition.

Keep hounding them until you get everything your entitled to with your purchase. I can't believe what I'm reading on this thread. It's unnacceptable.

I also received my flap in a white factory box from Chanel and placed inside a huge Chanel magnetic box. My SA said that there is shortage of box, but will send me the proper box when they get it.
