I had to return my second medium book tote for the same issue, both had glue residue that turned a brown/yellow colour…… I decided to go with the small size with the strap so I can use it for daily use, I hardly carried the medium because I don’t carry much now I WFH.

After reading a few posts regarding the orange glue issues, is it safe to buy a new Booktote, e.g. from the new Dioriviera collection, or haven’t they solved the problem yet? Thanks

Hi everyone! I bought a dior book tote in the toile de joy burgundy, and somehow part of the inner stitching was sliced off.. (still don't know how it was done).. anyone know if Dior provides a restitching service?

I'm not too sure what the stitching being sliced off means. But if you are referring to the gap between the edge-stitching that was folded inside, then that's normal. There are variations in the distance between the threads, and sometimes the stitching ends and then restarts.

The embroidery there looks normal, with variations in the distance of the stitches.

Wasn't sure to post this in the Lady Dior or book tote clubhouse but since it's under Book Tote on Dior's website, does anyone have this lady Dior style book tote? Wondering how heavy/light it is, and how it looks when worn on the shoulder.

I tried it in the medium size and it wasn’t heavy at all. Actually the canvas version with straps was heavier!

I’m thinking the same but I feel like it’s still kind of heavy when it’s full… LV neverfull is a good diaper bag, it’s so light.
There are weights of the bags on the Dior web site! In the size description. They’re like 700grams

I'm glad someone else is thinking the same! I know the LV neverfull is a well loved diaper bag (and nowaways there's also the Goyard St Louis) but this leather LD book tote looks so stylish 😂

Diaper bags get dirty pretty fast too, I want something light and pretty and stylish but sturdy too.

It does but it also reminds me of the LV on the go and to be honest their straps are more comfortable. I have one large in canvas seasonal color and a black one in medium. I use them for work and travel and they get heavy super fast.

I have one Dior book tote but it’s from a lighter material, lighter than usual canvas bags. It was a special edition for Ramadan and it’s all gold and shiny, def not a diaper bag, and when I compare it to their other canvas bags, they’re much more heavy.

The other day I took my personalised book tote out from where I had stored it and in the corners I noticed some orange glue stains on the canvas. I managed to rub some of it off but wanted to know what the latest info is about Dior's response to the glue/staining issue. Its definitely noticeable as I have the gray/grey oblique pattern medium book tote so its noticeable against the white background.
