I‘ve had success with Nordstrom’s and Neiman’s Chanel boutiques. I have no problem with their returns and exchanges. I bought from the San Francisco store years ago and they sent me a mailing label for a return when the bag was defective. I don’t know if they would’ve done the same for a return. Is self-shipping new to the stand alone stores? I know Chanel is trying to money-grab because they paid employees for weeks during shutdowns, but really?!?! Maybe they needed to set-up eCommerce to satisfy their bottomline during Covid. Be proactive.
