BeverlyHills Boutique Not Providing Return Label?

We only have a Saks here and they don’t have any Chanel bags. The 800 number customer service did say I have to return to the store of purchase too.

That doesn’t even make sense. If your bags had come from a store in another state they wouldn’t say you have to return them to the out of state store. It really sounds like they are playing games with you. After all they’ve put you through I hope you work with a SA from one of the department stores for any future purchases. If you need a referral I have a wonderful SA at Neiman’s in Topanga.

It is 100% not true you have to return to the store of purchase. I returned a very high value item to a different store than the store it was purchased at. It was even purchased under a different name than mine. They are really being unfair to you, OP.

I am glad that I was able find the square mini, but I don’t appreciate being treated differently by the store or customer service. Yes, I would love a referral for Topanga. Thank you!

I am not knowledgeable about social media or about return policies, but is it possible to reach out to chanel on one of those platforms. Maybe you will get a more results oriented response from Chanel corporate? Or ask your cc company for help? Amex concierge? I am sure you are not the first person with this issue.

I am not knowledgeable about those either unfortunately. I can probably dispute the shipping charge with the cc company if I send it back. They will probably reach out to Chanel and get the same response that it is my responsibility to pay for return shipping.

Sorry you have to go through this. I am very cautious of buying from boutique or leased store unless I can drive there. My Chanel leased boutique is about 45 mins away. In cases where boutique is not so close, its puts you in a bind.

I just don't understand why they have been so difficult.

I should probably just refrain from buying until I can be in a boutique. Who knows when that will be, but it will be nice for my wallet! I appreciate you. It is nice to chat with people that care...

:frown: I know...that is good way to put it.
I can understand if they wanted to charge for a return due to “change of mind” but to not provide the service of a return label is a bit ridiculous. And you would think they would want to pick a courier that they most trust to handle their merchandise. Ah well.

I agree, especially considering the profit margin on their merchandise.
