Best color for Evelyne?

BE is my favorite H color and I was lucky enough to get a toolbox which I love. It seriously goes with everything - gray, black, cream, white, red, purple, blue etc and I get compliments daily!! It is a stunning color. I think H does color so well - you can get black in any other bag but Hermes colors make the bag even more unique. I also think the Evelyne looks best in a pop color because of it's shape and size - makes is a cute, fun, casual bag. BE is a gorgeous blue and will turn heads for sure. It's also harder to get than black as I feel like black is always available - even online sometimes.
BE gets my vote.

BE and black to me would be an ideal Evelyne collection. If I come across a BE Evelyne I will buy it to accompany my black. I agree BE is harder to find so would take that first. BUT....only if you really will wear it. I don't think you should worry about others' judgment but in real life,sometimes we buy fabulous things and are then not comfortable...and they stay in the closet.

I would risk it and try the BE. As catsinthebag says, I wear my Evie logo inside (as intended) so it's not as big a statement bag. Worst case you could easily sell the bag as BE is in demand AND a price increase is happening.

I am an Iris lover as well but it. Is HARD to find and BE is to me even more special of a color.

i think it is wearable..I mostly wear black or grey especially in winter, and use scarves in blue or green, so i know it goes well with my dairy wardrobe....
I think i just got chickened out at the boutique since i settled my heart to the black for dairy use include ids school...but i can get black later too..

Clemence is perfect for a more neutral BE. It's perfect - I am really comfortable wearing it with everything. Like jyyanks said, people stop me all the time to compliment the color!

Hello ladies,

I had purchased an Evelyn GM (largest size) in Rouge Garrance but then found it too big and was starting to get floppy after a couple wears. So, I decided to sell it. Recently, I have found myself missing it and want to buy a new PM (smaller sized) one.
However, I am torn between what color to get. I feel like its such a casual, sporty bag, that I should get a pop of color:
-Orange
Bleu Jean
-Rouge Casaque/Garrance
-Rouge Pivoine (Coral color)
BUT at the same time, its such an everyday bag that I want a color that matches everything:
-Etoupe
-Gold
-Black

I have a few B and K and they are all classic colors (Black, Gold, Etain, Etoupe Bleu Saphir). What would you ladies recommend?
Also, I am thinking of Epsom since the leather would retain its shape.
I look forward to hearing from you all! :)

I personally find Bleu Jean to be a colour that goes well with almost everything :smile1:

Have owned Rubis PM, Blue Izmir PM & a Black PM. Black most often used. Black always appropriate and so versatile...can be changed with twillys, charms. Vote black first and colors down the road.

100% agree with QuelleFromage.
My only concern for you is that if you get the BE now and people start to notice it, ask questions, etc, (as nice of a colour it is, it is rather bright) you might feel more uncomfortable and it'll end up not getting used as much as it should. If you want something that you will not worry about wherever you use it, other than black, perhaps you can consider dark blue, dark grey, etc. It has a bit of colour without being black. Just my 2cents. :smile1: Good luck on your decision.

Here she is...Bleu Electrique Evelyne Clemence leather & PM size!!

As you know, I did not plan this color but It was love at first sight and couldn't pass it!!
I am really really so happy that I made right decision for myself and got this beauty & will enjoy wearing :cloud9:

I really loved this gorgeous color in person.
I see my favorite purple color is undertone in this Clemence leather under the natural light. ( you can see in last photo :)
It is really so beautiful...
Like many of you expert ladies as your comments, you're right, This color must be much easier to go with many things more than I thought.
I can't wait to wear it :heart:

I love blue & purple and own in Chanel but Hermes Bleu Electric is also an amazing on Clemence leather...!! I am really so happy!! thank you!!!
