Best color for Evelyne?

I find BE VERY versatile - what doesn't it go with!? It's not super bright - especially in Clemence. I guess if your usual wardrobe is especially fun and colorful, a BE everyday bag might be a bit much! But I would definitely get BE - you can get a Black one any time, and if you're being offered BE now, that might not happen again! Good luck!

I am still deciding on the color for my evelyne and yes I am a mom to a 2 year old with another one coming soon. I actually would rather wear a colorful one than a black one to kids events but the again I don't know your school or the parents who go there. I think black is a little serious for kids events and a color, even a more conservative one like navy or gray, is more welcoming and approachable. I will probably end up getting a beige, gray, or red/pink evelyne.

I would get the BE, I have one in raisin and would love to have the BE! BTW, forget about the judgmental moms life is too short!

yes. It's been rested for quite some time now.

I say forget about the judgemental mums too. :smile1:

You can't change people who is judgement (believe me they are everywhere!) but you sure can change yourself.

I mean..
If you feel uncomfortable and concern about the situation then you should just get black for kids events and enjoy the bag. Nothing wrong with that.

Thank you Ladies!! You all are sweet, great encouragement to me...yeah you all are right, life is too short for care about judgmental moms around :smile1:

I think you could match be or black evelyne for everything. It depends how much do you like blue. If you do then get be as it will make the bag stand out more. Black evelyne will always be available

Thank you for your opinion! I really loved the blue in person..i was shocked how beautiful blue it was...i just needed to calm down and consider at home well, since i did not plan anything blue for evelyne,
so glad i asked you ladies that is great help!

You made me realize...that's important point. yes it is the Clemence leather and the bleu electrique color looked gorgeous on the leather..
i think it is wearable..I mostly wear black or grey especially in winter, and use scarves in blue or green, so i know it goes well with my dairy wardrobe....
I think i just got chickened out at the boutique since i settled my heart to the black for dairy use include ids school...but i can get black later too..
i will see it once more in tomorrow morning, then will make final decision.. thanks so much for your advice! :smile1:

To me, BE and Black are both great for this bag. You can't go wrong with either.

So the color is one thing but the leather is a very important consideration IMO....
What leather are you going for? I recommend u stick with clemence.
I tried the Evvie but it didn't work for me in Epsom. It was TOO STIFF and really awkward for me to wear. It didn't conform to the shape of my body so I was forced to push it behind me to wear it so it bopped up and down every step I took. Grrr.
Maybe it was the size too. I got a GM and it was HUGE even tho I am 5'7, 130.
Although it was my dream color (Rose Tyrien), I had to let it go.
I'm not sure if you've tried this bag on, but I HIGHLY suggest you do before u buy it. Just something to think about....from someone who bought it sight unseen, on a whim....

Thanks so much for your advice that is really helpful!! I really appreciate for your input!! Yes, It is Clemence leather.

I agree. If wearing a pop color will make you self-conscious and uncomfortable, get black. Or, if you want a color but not something too bright, get Etoupe or gold, or a darker blue like blue Abysse or blue sapphire. Or graphite. Hermes does not lack for color options!

As someone else said, Iris is rested -- but also, Iris in some ways is as bright as Blue Electrique, so you may have the same issue with both colors.

Also, I wear my Evie with the perforated H facing my body. The brand is less noticeable, and the outside pocket is easier to access.

Thank you for your great idea, true! great things that Hermes have so many gorgeous color option.
True...iris is bright purple as well.. i thought purple is little easier to match but BE is really hard to pass...just gorgeous..
Now I know the wisest decision is...I should get both in BE and black later.
Thank you for your help! :smile1:

I don't have a BE evie but a Bleu Abysse. It is a dark blue but not too navy. I love it and H blues are so surprisingly neutral if you go with deeper hues.

I have never seen BE IRL but from photos it looks like more jewel toned than a neutral to me.
