BE! No doubt! H is all about its gorgeous colors, BE is one of them��you can always get black....grab the BE while you can!

I have a Bleu Obscur Evelyne GM and I love it..it's not black but it's not a bold, very subtle. That being said, if BE was offered to me I would jump at it - as a second Evelyne or even if it was my first. BE is my favorite H color and it's just perfect; you can always find black.
Evelyne is casual, it will be fun in BE and add a pop of color to your outfit.
In black, it will be more an underadar workhorse bag on duty...

I just dropped off my kid at school and back to online now.
I am a mom for elemental kids...that's why i really want 1 Evelyne in my life ( especially black one )
I think cross body Evelyne is perfect and many moms here must own it.
You all are so supportive and i so appreciate for you all...
I'd like to ask you little more help.
I should have put more info of my background first..
I originally wanted Black for dairy use and also for kids events, and did set my heart to it.
and also I really wanted Iris ( purple ) if any color in Evelyne, but no stock then the SA showed me BE...
Oh my...It is just really so beautiful color and so attractive, but i did not plan the blue..so couldn't jump in..
Question is.., If i could get black one, i would definitely wear to kids events no problem, but if i get BE, I probably wouldn't wear at kids event...
I would wear BE more for stylish events like casual lunch or shopping with my friends, but probably not kids school events..
Since my first motivation of getting Evelyne was for kids event dairy, would BE works for that or not..?
Does anyone who is a mom and own BE Evelyne wear to Kids elementary school events..??
I adore such a cool mom though, ..myself?....I'd get probably chicken out...:shame:
My kids elementary school is just regular public and no one wear colorful H, or stylish purses or cloth, mostly moms wear LV or others..
I'm such a wimpy one but I concern for influence to my kids by some gossip..silly me
So, I also wear tough and boring LVs for kids event for safety...though everyone has exact same style everywhere in the events.. i am sick of LVs...sigh.
I wear my Chanel without kids when go to lunch with my friends or shopping...but Chanel is too flashy at kids events..

Iris is a past season colour. Why do you think BE can't be worn to kids' events?
I know how silly question is it right..oh I am a wimpy one..lol
I love wear BE anytime but not my kids school...my kids neighbors are PTA moms who are really serious and great moms, but also judgmental...sigh..sorry.

You can't change people who is judgement (believe me they are everywhere!) but you sure can change yourself.

If you feel uncomfortable and concern about the situation then you should just get black for kids events and enjoy the bag. Nothing wrong with that.
To me, BE and Black are both great for this bag. You can't go wrong with either.
So the color is one thing but the leather is a very important consideration IMO....

I tried the Evvie but it didn't work for me in Epsom. It was TOO STIFF and really awkward for me to wear. It didn't conform to the shape of my body so I was forced to push it behind me to wear it so it bopped up and down every step I took. Grrr.
Maybe it was the size too. I got a GM and it was HUGE even tho I am 5'7, 130.
Although it was my dream color (Rose Tyrien), I had to let it go.

I agree. If wearing a pop color will make you self-conscious and uncomfortable, get black. Or, if you want a color but not something too bright, get Etoupe or gold, or a darker blue like blue Abysse or blue sapphire. Or graphite. Hermes does not lack for color options!
As someone else said, Iris is rested -- but also, Iris in some ways is as bright as Blue Electrique, so you may have the same issue with both colors.
Also, I wear my Evie with the perforated H facing my body. The brand is less noticeable, and the outside pocket is easier to access.
