Best color for Evelyne?

Again, I so appreciate for ladies who gave me advice and opinions over the color!
Because of you, I could make decision and follow my heart beat.
And, I noticed that i had no one to ask honest opinions or experiences over the purses in real life sadly...but true, even though i have so many friends.

i have an Iris Clemence GM3. i have 3 kids going to public elementary and i wear this bag constantly to school events, like Parent-Teacher conferences, class parties, project exhibits, etc. i also wear this bag at my kid's baseball games, park outings and running errands (Walmart/Target/Costco). you name it, i wear it there.

i have had it for a few years now and find it so functional, durable and spacious, especially if you need to be hands-free for kids.
(it is really sturdy, and i have tendency to baby my bags too, but not with this one. and it is still in spectacular condition.)

aside from its perfection of practicality, the color is amaaaaaaaaazing.

I just dropped off my kid at school and back to online now.
I am a mom for elemental kids...that's why i really want 1 Evelyne in my life ( especially black one )
I think cross body Evelyne is perfect and many moms here must own it.

You all are so supportive and i so appreciate for you all...
I'd like to ask you little more help.
I should have put more info of my background first..

I originally wanted Black for dairy use and also for kids events, and did set my heart to it.
and also I really wanted Iris ( purple ) if any color in Evelyne, but no stock then the SA showed me BE...
Oh my...It is just really so beautiful color and so attractive, but i did not plan the blue..so couldn't jump in..

Question is.., If i could get black one, i would definitely wear to kids events no problem, but if i get BE, I probably wouldn't wear at kids event...
I would wear BE more for stylish events like casual lunch or shopping with my friends, but probably not kids school events..
Since my first motivation of getting Evelyne was for kids event dairy, would BE works for that or not..?

Does anyone who is a mom and own BE Evelyne wear to Kids elementary school events..??

I adore such a cool mom though, ..myself?....I'd get probably chicken out...:shame:
My kids elementary school is just regular public and no one wear colorful H, or stylish purses or cloth, mostly moms wear LV or others..
I'm such a wimpy one but I concern for influence to my kids by some gossip..silly me
So, I also wear tough and boring LVs for kids event for safety...though everyone has exact same style everywhere in the events.. i am sick of LVs...sigh.
I wear my Chanel without kids when go to lunch with my friends or shopping...but Chanel is too flashy at kids events..

How's Iris purple Evelyne hard to come by like BE?
I probably should open another thread for this question,
but does anyone own Iris purple or Bleu Electrique in Evelyne? and wear to kids school events too??

As you know, I did not plan this color but It was love at first sight and couldn't pass it!!
I am really really so happy that I made right decision for myself and got this beauty & will enjoy wearing

I really loved this gorgeous color in person.
I see my favorite purple color is undertone in this Clemence leather under the natural light. ( you can see in last photo
It is really so beautiful...
Like many of you expert ladies as your comments, you're right, This color must be much easier to go with many things more than I thought.
I can't wait to wear it

Hi OP - congrats on getting you new BE bag - it is my favourite colour, hands down! You mentioned you were worried about carrying it to your child's public school. One suggestion for you to mitigate people "judging" you (if they were to at all) is to carry the Evelyne the way it was intended to be carried, i.e. with the "H" perforated logo on the inside, and not show it on the outside like many people do. With no logo to show off to other parents, your bag instantly becomes more under the radar ...

i am a mom with a 17 months old baby girl.. i have a evelyne gm in blue sapphire. i got the bag after having my daughter and have been using it almost everyday.. i wear mostly dark clothes and this bag goes well with everything. i originally want to get black too and am very glad i didn't..

Yeah! I love that color for an Evelyne! Great choice. Although the black is nice, 2 moms at preschool have it in black (I think I saw a 3rd one the other day?!), and I find it to be too harsh for every day for some reason. Maybe because it is a big bag with a thick-black shoulder strap? Anyhow, congrats your be is gorgeous!
