I can see that there are some really disappointed BE ladies out there and I understand that one would would feel that way especially if they were friendly with Jackie and perhaps there in the earlier days. I personally only spoke with Jackie once and found her perfectly accommodating with my issue. I dealt mostly with Janelle and Aimee, who I found lovely, but to be honest I just ordered what I liked and that was that - not much interaction.

I remember seeing my first BE. I was in the Coach forum and someone had this amazing purple bag in their avatar. When I inquired they said was a Love Me in this amazing purple leather (think it was sheen) with zippers and tassels.......glad I was sitting down because I would have fallen down.
I would have ordered more but only had concerns about the sizes and weight of bags I had never seen IRL. <sigh>

BE bags are heavy to me personally too that is why I sold my both my TMAs in Choc and Tan.

Wow lucky you! You beat me to it,,, still regret selling my Enchant Me in this leather, sob sob, God knows why I sold that bag.. Found a pic of it on an old thread in this forum - I hope she is enjoying life with new second owner,, if I could find another one to buy I'd jump at it!!!

Pinkdiamond, great to see you again! I still have the black Rock Me I got from you. Pradameinhofgang used to be like a BE store for me - I bought many a bag from her!
Well I am in part repaying the favour by buying your black Crash HM off Bonanza!, I could seriously write a book about all the bags I've bought! And sold, ( then regretted selling!) over e years... Really regret selling my Mik choc pebbled Hug Me and TME, the leather was gorgeous and so tactile...
Slightly off the subject - CANNES and PARIS. ? I started Another thread but haven't had a reply yet.. Noticed there are loads left on BE and wondered if anyone had bought one of these and how they got on with them? There's a choc tanned Cannes in eyeing up as its a good price and the leather looks nice. The top straps remind me a bit of a Mulberry Emmy or Alana...but hasn't seen anyone model the style IRL so wonders how they look and feel in more detail - the pictures on BE website are a bit crappy and the rotAtung view thingy doesn't work on my iPad , any ideas please??
Sorry another question - is the BE veg tanned leather a little like Mulberry old Darwin - ie there is some tonal vAriation in the leather and is has a slight "depth" to the grain, ( if that makes sense?> it's hard to tell but by looking at the pics of the PTis totes in black calfskin vs tanned choc the calfskin looks a deep matte Colour wheras the veg tanned looks more patchy....

The choc Cannes is absolutely gorgeous, I had one and only returned it because I couldn't make myself like brown/gold colours. But I so badly wanted to keep it for the style as it was so comfortable and stylish.

Thanks that's fabulous - like the look of the Cannes IRL. Think the full size is too big for me - I'm 5 foot 3 and a size UK8..the midi looks nice. Sorry to be dense, what's the difference between "chocolate matte" leather and "Nat Veg tanned" in dark brown???
Sorry yes I'm 5'3 as well and the midi size was plenty big enough. The matte leather is my favourite, it's smooth and not shiny. I think the tanned leather is treated, extremely hardly and a bit shinier.
