Be honest--do you use the kelly as an everyday bag?

I only use my Kelly if I'm going to a show or a concert or somewhere else special. It's a light color and I worry about it getting dirty if I use it all the time. I go to a lot of shows and concerts, so Ms. Kelly does get around.

Old thread but I'll answer anyway. I've had my Kelly (28 sellier) for less than a week, so the experience is very new. I plan to use my Kelly as an everyday bag, I find it very convenient thanks to the shoulder strap. As for reaching inside here's what I do: I carry a cardholder and my key wallet in the inside pockets, and I can reach these even when the front straps are fastned. Which means I lock the flap on top of the straps with the turnkey.

As for the dressiness of the Kelly, that's what I love. It adds instant elegance even to more casual outfits, let's say jeans and a trench.

35 retourne matte croc or ostrich. SO. Love them .

And sometimes I switch for a 32 sellier.... wich I equally love, if I do not have to carry any file or book....

Mostly I use 32's and 35's for daytime bags. They hold quite a bit and are easy to get in and out of.

Honestly,I rotate all my bags & although my 32cm Black Box Kelly is very dear to me the weather(rainy) here makes it hard to take her out more.

I carry my Kellys as my everyday bags except in the summer. My summer style is SO casual - my Picotin is going to be perfect. I love the way my Kellys look with a casual pair of jeans or slacks - just a perfect way to make a daytime VERY casual look have a bit of class.

I have a 28 and a 32 kelly (both retourne), and I rarely use them. I have 2 young active boys, carry loads of things, and need easy access. The birkin suits my lifestyle, and is my daily "toss-around" bag.

The kelly, which I didn't appreciate at first, is my "me time" bag. Before I had any H bags, I only thought of the birkin. Now that I have some, the kelly is becoming more and more interesting to me. Although it has a strap, I really don't like the look of kellys with straps. I love the handbag look of it and agree that it add an "oomph" to even a simple jeans-and-tee outfit.

The real question is what will I use as my everyday bag when my kids don't need me as their personal mule? Hmmmmm.

I would..... if I had a bigger one thats casual. Right now I only have a 28cm Sellier and I can't fit everything I need in it and it is too structured.

I have a 35cm on order, so now I'm on a mission to get the 32cm & 40cm "broken in" and "pre-loved". I would love to carry it everyday. I love the convenience of the shoulder strap as well.
