I know, I think I need to uninstall Poshmark! I just sold two bags and I'm already looking.I know I’ll struggle which is why I hope this thread gets some new momentum. I need the support!
And I really DON’T need any other bags for a while. So, I need to avoid my trigger which is looking at online bag shopping. If I just stop browsing, I’ll be just fine. I need to reactivate one of my hobbies for “dead” time. But I was ill over the last year and couldn’t do hobbies…so I shopped.
Maybe instead I should order some miniature African violets and grow them under lights over the winter, I did that one year and it was a lot of fun!

I find it difficult to do an outright ban. I prefer a limit. If you only buy one or two bags in 2025, how about just making sure that those are perfect. . . I bought two mini muffin tins today (not on sale, but needed)

Agreed - as soon as I know I'm "not allowed" to do something, all I want to do is that something!
I think that’s a great idea. In past years that has been my goal - hold myself to a low purchase number and then ensure that they are exactly what I need to fill any gaps or holes in my collection.
But, for me in 2025, I do need to be on a ban. I purposefully allowed myself to purchase quite a few bags this year (understatement LOL!) to refresh my collection and have a total of 41. I need to enjoy and rotate (and most of all appreciate) what I have. And, I have 7 bags - not included in the 41 - that I need to sell.
That all being said, I need to renew my old hobbies and start new interests so that vacuum that handbag shopping and buying is filled.
