Agree 100% with most(love LV damier ebene)of what you said!!!!Okay, at the risk of sounding annoyingly diplomatic- if given enough thought, I think I can “get” why people are drawn to most bags.
-My personal taste leads me away from heavy monogram/logo/embellishments. Crosses off lots of popular Louis Vuitton and Gucci bags (just as examples).
-Anything extremely ubiquitous just loses it’s appeal.
-Chanels are lovely bags, I have a few. But, maybe (just maybe) a bit overrated?? There are many lovely bags out there that seem eclipsed by the ‘mega brands’, if you will.
- The Hermès Birkin/Kelly. Hmmm, I quite like the look of the Kelly.. but I take issue with the buying process and exorbitant price tag. (Having said that, I would graciously accept if it was a family heirloom).
**And a small caveat about the above discussion of Leiber clutches... while they are SO at the other end of the spectrum of my taste, I really respect the story of how Judith’s brand came to be. Holocaust survivor with gusto and limited materials. Impressive.

Nor do I- I was never was into the Fendi monster eyes in the interior of the bag/bag charm monsters. But I can see how it would be fun for someone with super whimsical taste, or someone really bored with the ordinary. I doubt I’ll ever reach that point. Ha.I don't get bags with faces. Of course, I never understood stuffed animals either, so there you go.
Perhaps I should get out more.
Lol. I'm that person bored with the ordinary AT TIMES. I have a monster tote and got my DD a different monster tote too. I totally understand! Some bags I could NEVER wear, but totally love them on others!... and I can totally understand the appeal of the damier ebene, even if it’s not for me. There’s a heritage and a history behind the house prints, which I admire from afar- just doesn’t align with my aesthetic, as it were. Spice of life, and whatnot!
Love it. I admire anyone that owns a bold fashion statement.Lol. I'm that person bored with the ordinary AT TIMES. I have a monster tote and got my DD a different monster tote too. LOL.![]()
I only like bags with faces if it’s a Disney bag. I have one with Aladdin’s face and I love it (I plan on getting Flynn once the price drops to $10). But I will never pay designer prices for one.I don't get bags with faces. .
Oh, I'm definitely in the minority when it comes to these things. All of my bags are about as exciting as a door knob. I love them.I only like bags with faces if it’s a Disney bag. I love stuffed animals but I only buy them for my nephew. I love how cuddly and soft they are. If there is one stuffed animal I don’t get, it would be Build-A-Bear.
They’re ridiculously expensive. $15-20 to choose the skin, several dollars more to stuff it, and then to dress it up could cost $10-15 each (clothes, shoes and accessory). Altogether it could add up to $75+. Soo expensive. Not worth it at all.
